Peter is worried about the green guy from the lab, he's went back to the strange building every day since he found everyone there. But the police won't let Spider-man in to investigate the scene.
Peter would try non-stop though, he tried every possible way to get in, Spider-man even flashed his Stark Industries employee badge with a picture of Peter in his Spider-man mask & suit sitting in front of the camera for his ID photo, but they still wouldn't let him in.
But finally the place was reopened to the public & Spider-man could officially check the place out.
As he dug deeper into the building on his swing over to the building, he found out that in 1947 it was owned by a rich architect, Jim Mooney, & he used that building for art galleries & auctions.
Peter closed his tabs in the way of his vision as he landed in front of the building, he looked around making sure there weren't any police officers or yellow tape telling him to stay out, even though that wouldn't have stopped him.
Spider-man opened the double doors, revealing the dark hallways lit by a single bulb.
"Not creepy at all", Peter whispers to himself. He began to walk down the long, dark, narrow hallways. Passing by the rooms & cages as he meant to get to the lab.
Spider-man walked in, looking around the room for anything. Karen did a full sweep of the room, looking for anything, even a single hair would have helped.
But nothing came up, the police must have taken everything they could find, scrubbing the place for DNA.
Peter walked back to the cages, searching for a drop anything but he still couldn't find anything.
"They told me you would come", A man's deep voice said. Spider-man shot his head towards the direction of the voice. Peter saw a police officer. "You're not in trouble or anything, they just told me to watch out for you, you shouldn't be investigating into something like this, we can handle it".
"You didn't know what I saw", Spider-man said. He closed the cage door & stood far from the man.
"I can take your statement", The officer said, grabbing out a notepad & pen.
"I'll trade you", Spider-man offered. "You can give me some in tell on the case".
"They didn't find anything, this entire crime scene was scrubbed clean", The officer admitted. "No fingerprints, no hairs, & no DNA".
"Well, you should be looking for a green-skinned beast-man thing", Spider-man said. "He's got razor-sharp claws & wears purple body armor".
Spider-man was about to walk out when Ned spoke in his ear.
"There has been a sighting of Black Cat running over the rooftops on Jacksonville Avenue & Burton road", Ned said.
"Thanks, I'm heading there now", Spider-man said as he held his hand up to his ear to speak to Ned. "Glad I can help, I have to run".
Spider-man ran out of the art gala, swinging from building to building until eventually spotted Black Cat jumping between the enclosed rooftops.
Peter swung & landed in front of her, she seemed less than amused to see him.
"What's with the long face, I thought you liked seeing me", Peter quipped as he aimed his web-shooters at her.
"I don't have time to talk", Felicia said, looking all around her for something.
"Well I need to, because the last time you wanted to play villain you decided to cut me open, I don't know about you, but I didn't enjoy that", Peter said, making sure she could run away.
