(6) Trust Has Fallen

"Make a left", Ned said through an earpiece in Peter's mask. "Carver Federal bank should be just down the road".

Peter landed on the side of the building, looking over to see the other three spiders landing next to him.

"This is so dope, four spider-men, that's extremely awesome", Ned was amazed by the others & all of their different powers, like the organic webbing.

"Focus", Peter scowled him.

"Right, sorry", Ned said, sliding across the room in his wheeled chair, sitting in front of a laptop. "There are two armed men in the vault, one guarding them, & two more holding hostages, you can get in through the window or air ducts, your choice".

Spider-man & the other spiders crawled up the side of the building to the window Ned suggested.

"I'll get the hostages, you guys stop the robbers", Peter said. They started to make their way to the downstairs bank Creeping down the halls of the upper levels of the bank, trying to make it to the staircase without getting spotted.

"I'll check upstairs", A man's voice said. It was quiet, but clearly coming from downstairs.

The spiders quickly dispersed into separate rooms, trying to hide without any place to.

The stairwell door opened, they could hear a mans footsteps making his way through the hall, checking every room he passed.

The man checked the room Peter was in, but nobody was in there after Peter crawled out the window. So he kept going, eventually finding the room that The Spider was hiding in.

"On the floor kid", The man said as he raised his gun, aiming at The Spider.

The Spider didn't move, instead he hunched over, talons poking through the poly-carbon gloves.

The man gipped his hold on the gun, ready to tighten the trigger & shoot. But the man was webbed to the wall by Spider-man, making sure to web his mouth too.

"We are not here to hurt anyone", Peter reminded The Spider. The Spider rolled his eyes under the mask & followed Spider-man out of the room & down the hall to the others.

They made their way downstairs, seeing the men taking hostages & the others in the vault piling gold bars into duffle bags.

Spider-man shoots webs at the hostage taker's feet, sweeping them away. But as they hit the floor of the bank their bodies banged off the floor, causing a loud noise, catching the other's attention.

"Daren, Kyle", The guard asks as he steps out into the lobby of the bank. He didn't see his colleagues, but he saw the four spiders instead. "Get the gold", The man yelled as he started firing shots at the spiders.

Spider-man & Scarlet Spider hid behind a wall while The Spider & White Widow jumped down behind the front desk.

Spider-man tried peeking around the corner to see if the man was reloading, but he was no longer he only shooter anymore. The other two men from the vault emerged from behind the walls in which it was set, firing pistols while their guard was firing an assault rifle.

"They're behind the desk", The guard yelled over the sound of gunfire.

Both men walked over, pistols locked into their hands. They approached the desk, but out flipped White Widow & The Spider.

Flipping over the two vault runners, they landed behind them, sweeping out their legs as they landed in a spider-like poses.

The guard fired at the two spiders, forgetting about Spider-man & Scarlett Spider.
