Ned sat in the car, anxiously waiting for Maria & everyone else to come out of the store. But he was sitting on his laptop trying to talk to Michelle.
"Ned. NED!". Michelle yelled from within the suit. One of her thrusters went offline & she fell a few feet. She screamed as she fell another 10 feet.
"MJ, the thrusters are stabilized, the parachute is on check, & the flight barrier is on. Just think about flying better", Ned said awkwardly. He glanced up at the gas station & saw everyone coming out. "Shit".
Ned quickly slid to the wall & closed his laptop halfway. But as he moved his headphones were unplugged.
Everyone piled into the car, but they quickly noticed the empty seat.
"Hey, Ned, where is Michelle", Maria asked? She was looking into the far back seat at Ned from the windshield mirror. Her eyebrows were furrowed as one lifted, giving Ned the stank disappointed mother look.
"She went to the bathrooms-", Ned started but a crackling sound came from his computer & he stopped speaking. He didn't know his headphones were unplugged & stumbled to plug them back in.
"Ned! I can't slow down, what am I supposed to do", Michelle screamed as Ned almost plugged his headphones back in. His face scrunched as he felt Maria's motherly death glare land back on him. "Ned, where am I going"?
"What is going on, where is my daughter", Maria yelled from the front seat.
Betty was sitting next to Ned & looked over at his laptop, she saw the blueprint design of a female Iron man suit.

Ned ignored Maria's glare & plugged his headphones back in, "Just turn the thrusters down a little. You're going the right way, but you are only 2 miles out & if you don't slow down you are going to fly past New York".
"New York", Maria yelled! She turned back in her seat to scold Ned. But Ned ignored her as much as he could.
Michelle's face scrunched as she heard her mother swear through the microphone.
She started to slow down as she saw the New York buildings & skyscrapers. She flew closer to the ground as she flew between the towering buildings.
She landed quickly. She threw her arms out in front of her to stop, her boots scraped off of the black pavement roads with sparkles flying up as she came to a halt.
She looked as the terrified citizens finally looked with hope. She softly smiled under the metal armor. She even forgot about the constant yelling coming from over the coms.
"Hey, Ned, I'm going to have to end this call", Michelle said as she started to lift her hand to her ear.
"Michelle Jones, don't you dare hang up, get your ass back here right now", Maria yelled.
