(14) Wronged the Avengers

The Avenger's Facility was quiet, there weren't many Avengers inside. Only Falcon & Winter Soldier.

Wanda Maximoff was still missing, T'Challa was in Wakanda, Captain Marvel was somewhere in space, Hulk was in New Asgard with Valkyrie, Ant-man & Wasp were back in back in San Fransisco, Clint & Rhodey retired, Thor was with the Guardians of the Galaxy, & Doctor Strange was somewhere else.

So the Avenger's Facility was quite defenseless for the Jackal's attack.

The sirens were blaring. As guards rushed from all directions.

The weak artillery of the pistols only annoyed Jackal, slashing at the guards & tackling the others. The Jackal's claws ripped through the guard's bulletproof vest.

There was a deep-voiced scream & the swift whistling sound glided through the air & into the Jackal's ears. He turned & saw as the Falcon came flying past.

Jackal threw himself out of the way of Falcon's sharp wings. But as Falcon flew past Jackal was shot with a poisonous gas grenade, fired by The Winter Soldier.

Falcon flew back around & threw the shield, hitting the Jackal in the ribs & reflecting back to him. Falcon closed his wings & slid on his knees, taking out Jackal's knee as Bucky blew Jackal off of his feet with his metal arm.

The Falcon jumped off the ground & flew through the air again, kicking Jackal as he started to stand up again.

Bucky pulled his arm back & threw it forward, attempting to hit the Jackal, but the Jackal caught Bucky's punch & threw him at Falcon.

Sam barley dodged Bucky, but flew headfirst into the Jackal's grasp.

The Jackal ripped the wings from Falcon's suit while catching the shield at the same time. He slammed the wings into the floor as he threw aside the shield.

Sam rolled aside from the Jackal's attack & joined Bucky's side with guns pointed at the beast.

"We except your surrender, just get down & put your arms behind your head", Bucky said as he pointed his M249 Paratrooper at the green monster.

Sam aimed his dual Steyr SPP submachine guns at the freakish thing. Pointing the guns at the arched creature's head.

"He said get down freaky Shrek", Sam said, his fingers on the triggers ready to blast, as were Bucky's.

The Jackal smiled sincerely at the two, before lunging at the two. Sam's bullet's bounced off of the Jackal, but Bucky's shot through.

Bucky shot the beast once in the arm, but didn't get the chance to shoot again.

The Jackal, grabbed Sam by his throat & slammed him into Bucky. Knocking the both of them unconscious.

The Jackal looked around the room, half of the Avenger's Facility guards were lying unconscious on the floor surrounded by the armor & weaponry of the Falcon & the Winter Soldier.

He menacing cackle escaped the Jackal's lips as he turned around. He walked down the halls to the locked technology gallery.

Armored guards started rushing the Jackal. Guns, shields, & tasers clenched in between their fingers as they aimed it at the Jackal. They fired their weapons, the Jackal jumped from wall to wall to avoid the artillery.

The Jackal's claws dug into the walls as he jumped to avoid the last rounds of shots. He kicked off the wall, knocking over the first three men & crouched over the three men with his tongue out & a smirk across his face.
