"You're done, we got you now", Spider-man said, holding out his hand about to web the Jackal to the floor. But as Peter pressed his middle & ring fingers down to his palm he felt his spidey-sense went off & before peter could react he was hit.
The force of the hit flew Spider-man back & he rolled until he eventually came to a stop. He looked back to the Jackal & his friends, he saw as White Widow lowered his hand.
"What in the hell was that for", Shadow Spider asked as he stood in front of White Widow & the others. The Jackal rose from where he once lay.
Spider-man got up & ran to Shadow Spider, grabbing his arm as Peter pulled Miles away from the four. They both had a gut-wrenching feeling in the pit of their stomachs.
"Naive Little Spider-boy", The Jackal said as he pulled out a small device. He clenched it in his hands. "Your eyes are open, but you could never see the big picture".
"Kaine, Ben, Nate, what are you doing", Shadow Spider asked? He saw as his alleged friends stared back at him, motionless. "Guys"?
"Miles", Spider-man said. "It's not them, they aren't our friends".
The Jackal smiled as he opened his hand & should both Peter & Miles the device. It was a small metallic bug-looking device.

"You trust too easily, Parker", Jackal said as he placed the device onto the back of his neck. "You have to learn the hard way, that you can't trust anybody".
The Jackal glared at Shadow Spider menacingly, just as Miles started to twitch & jerk.
Peter helped lower Miles to the floor before he collapsed. He could hear police sirens & helicopter chuffs in the distance.
"They call it the Electric Pulse Emitter", Jackal said. "A rather a dull name for what the device does, it shares neural pathways between host & the carrier, attacking the host's nervous system & overtaking the host's brainwave activity".
Miles continued to violently shake on the floor as the Jackal explained.
"This device sends nanobots through their spinal cords, bloodstream, & nervous system. With just a thought I could stop his heart, or restart it", The Jackal said as Miles shot up & started to breathe again. "And it can do much more than that".
Miles stood up & turned to Peter, motionless, just like the others.
"I assume the amazing Spider-man can handle four of his disciples", The Jackal said, sharing looks between the four other Spider-men. "Get him", The Jackal said softly.
All four of the Jackal's horsemen lunged to Peter. Peter dodged a punch from Miles as he first lunged to him. Continuing to block venom from Nate, slashes from Ben, & stabs from Kaine.
