chapter 19 - trouble sleeping?
-------
Over the next three days, the three of us have been winning our matches with our "signature" moves: Killua with his chop, Gon with his push and me with my punch. We've earned some sort of popularity during our stay here since we were able to reach the 100s without a scratch.
"Yay! A private room!" Gon shouted like a child as he jumped on the bed with a giggle. "Now, we won't have to worry about money and lodging anymore."
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," Killua said as he sat on a chair. "If you drop below the 100s, you'll have to check out of this room. The 100s is like a ceiling. Once you pass it, you get special treatment. So everyone focuses on holding their spot; they'll do anything to stay in the 100s. Be careful."
I rolled my eyes. "Way to bum him out. Oh, well, looks like it's bedtime for you two," I said as I looked at my new watch. "Get some sleep. Tomorrow's a brand new day for us to kick other people's butts and to earn money for doing it. Good night!" I then grabbed Killua's arm and dragged him out of the room. I heard Gon shout out "Goodnight" to us as I closed the door.
Once we were out in the hallway, I let go of Killua and started walking towards my own room. "See you in the morning," I said to him.
"How are you going to sleep this time?" he chuckled.
"I'll inhale some chloroform to knock myself out," I sarcastically said.
"Seriously?"
I rolled my eyes. "No, stupid. I asked for some sleeping pills from Leorio."
"I thought you didn't know how to swallow pills?" he asked with a knowing grin.
An irk mark formed on my forehead as a blush went up to my cheeks. "How did you—never mind. I'm just going to pretend that you didn't know that. Bye!" I shouted as I finally found my private room. I locked the door behind me and let out a sigh. I could hear Killua chuckling at the other side of the door but I chose to ignore it.
I threw my backpack onto a chair and slumped on the bed. After a few minutes of thinking, I took out the bottle of sleeping pills and a glass of water. I placed the pill in my mouth and raised the glass up to my lips. I took a sip of water, but gagged the moment I felt the pill in my throat. I spit everything out and took deep breaths.
"Looks like I'm gonna have an all-nighter again," I mumbled as I cleaned up my mess.

The three of us continued to fight and win our matches without a single scratch on us. We earned so much money that we had to open an account that would hold all of our money.
"Wah! I've never seen so many zeros before!" Gon said as he looked at the amount of money that he has. "And just a week ago, I was totally broke!"
"I'm a little annoyed," Killua said. "My first time here, it took me two months to reach floor 150. Meanwhile, you guys are just breezing through."
"But you were only six back then," Gon reminded.
"Oh, yeah, did you see Zushi on TV earlier?" I brought up. They nodded in reply.
"He's still in the 50s," Killua said.
"I wonder what that Ren you sensed could have been," Gon said.
"Maybe if we fight opponents higher up..." Killua trailed off.
"Or, maybe we can just ask Zushi?" I interrupted.
