I roll over when I hear a door shut. I feel a body beside me, and I cuddle up to it. It must be Brendon because he groans and pulls me closer to him. I hear hushed whispers in the distance, and I hit Brendon with my eyes still closed.
"What," he groans.
"There's someone in the house, and I don't wanna get up," I mumble.
"But I don't wanna get up either," he groans.
"You two are idiots," Kenneth says laughing.
I sleepily sit up, and see Kenny, Joe, and Andy standing in the kitchen eating left over cookies.
"How did you guys get in the house," Brendon asks rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes.
"Kenny has a key," Joe says as cookie crumbs fall out of his mouth.
"Oh yeah," Brendon says.
"What's with all this baby stuff," Andy asks.
"I'm pregnant. Duh," I say as I get up.
Brendon tries to help, but I hit his hand away.
"Can you guys help us find someone who can paint the nursery," Brendon asks.
"Alrightly Captain Brendon," Kenny says.
I laugh, and they grab Brendon's laptop. They sit down on the floor and start typing.
"Ya hungry," Brendon asks.
"Nah," I say turning on the TV.
"Well, it looks like you two had fun last night," Andy says.
"What do you mean," I ask.
"Pictures and videos are online," Joe says.
"Oh," Brendon and I say both looking at each other.
"Can we decorate the Christmas Tree," I ask Brendon changing the subject.
"Yeah," he says.
While Andy, Joe, and Kenny are trying to find someone to paint the nursery, Brendon sets up the tree. Once he sets it up, I get the ornaments out, and Brendon turns on Journey.
"Oh there's a Christmas Party at Dallon's tonight," Kenny says.
"Okay, we'll be ready by then," I say.
Once Brendon and I decorate the tree, it's 4 in the afternoon.
"I think we can set up what we have of the nursery before we leave tonight," I say.
"You aren't tired or hungry," Brendon asks.
"A little bit, but I know later on tonight I'll be stuffed," I say.
"Okay, I'll carry the stuff upstairs," Brendon says picking the stuff up.
I walk behind him. We start with the crib first.
"How are you supposed to get it to stay open," I whine.
"You give up to easily," Brendon laughs as he pulls at it.
"It's been thirty minutes," I say.
We finally get it set up, and I move the rocking chair by the window. Brendon moves a shelf into the room, and we lay the diapers and baby items out on it.
"There," Brendon says as we walk downstairs.
"We found this man who's amazing," Joe says.
"Okay, we'll call him tomorrow," I say.
"Um why did you guys set the nursery up if you haven't painted the room," Andy asks.
"Shit, I didn't think about that," Brendon says running his hands through his hair.
"You better hurry. We have a party to get to," Kenny says.
I quickly get ready. When we're all ready, we leave the house and head to Dallon's. Once we arrive there, Breezy opens the door with Dallon at her side.
"Hey guys," Dallon says.
"Look at that baby bump, and you look amazing," Breezy says pulling me into a hug.
"Thanks, Breezy," I say laughing.
"I haven't seen you in forever, and you're already about to be a proud mama," she says.
"You're acting like my mom Breeze," I say laughing.
"Well, Dallon and her are the cool and weird parents," Brendon says laughing.
Breezy finally lets me go, and Knox and Amelia come running up to me.
"Aunt Erica! Uncle Brendon! Uncle Kenny! Uncle Joe and Andy," they loudly say.
"Hey," I say as they hug my legs.
"Alright you two, let them inside," Dallon says as he moves back.
They move out of the way, and we come in.
"Pete, Meagan, Bronx, Saint, Patrick, Elisa, and Declan should be on their way," Breezy says.
"All these babies will be the death of us," Brendon says laughing.
There's a knock on the door, and Dallon opens it.
"There they are," Breezy says.
"Look at Saint and Declan," Breezy loudly says.
Dallon laughs, and I say, "They've changed so much since I last saw them, and it's only been a week."
"A lot can change in a week with babies," Breezy says.
After the turkey's ready, and we play in the snow, we sing Christmas carols. I'm holding Declan watching him sleep. He's actually peaceful when he's not crying.
"When are we going to have your baby shower," Breezy asks.
"I don't have to have one," I quietly say trying not to wake Declan up.
"Sure you do. Don't worry about it... we'll come up with a good one," Breezy says smiling at Elisa and Meagan.
"Well, we better be heading back home," Patrick says as I hand him Declan.
"See ya," I say as he kisses me on my forehead.
"I can tell you're going to be a good mom," Patrick says smiling.
"Thanks," I say smiling back at him.
"It's getting pretty late. I guess we'll go too," Brendon says wrapping his arm around me.
"Okay. Bye guys," I say as we walk out of the house.
"Bye sweetie," Breezy says hugging me.
Brendon and I get in the car and head home. Brendon's phone rings, and he answers it.
"Hey," he says.
The person talks, and Brendon says, "Great. We'll be home in about twenty minutes. There's a spare key under the flower pot."
With that he hangs up.
"Who was that," I ask.
"No one special," he says trying not to smile.
"Brendon tell me," I say.
"You'll see when we get home," he says.
I'm quiet for the rest of the way there. When we get there, the kitchen light's on. Brendon helps me get out of the car, and when I'm about to open the door, Jess pulls me into a tight hug.
