"Good, you're awake," the doctor says walking in.

"Yeah, but I want to see Delilah," I say as Patrick sits on the edge of the bed.

"I can't let you do that," he says.

"Why the hell not?! She's our daughter, and we have the right to see her," I say

"It wouldn't be best," he says.

"I don't care. Let me see her," I snap back.

"Erica calm down," Patrick quietly says.

"No Patrick," I snap.

"I guess I could make an exception this time... after all you two have been through," the doctor says.

"Thank you," Brendon says.

"But I'm only going to allow you two to go in and see her, and you're going to have to be in a wheelchair," he says.

"Okay," I say.

Patrick gets a wheelchair, and Brendon helps me into it. They take the tube out of my arms and nose. The doctor leads us into a room, and Brendon pushes me into the room. There's a tiny little crib like thing in the middle of the room. Brendon rolls me over to it, and she's so tiny. Her skin has a reddish tone, she has a fuzz of light brown hair on her head, she can't be even a foot long, she's wrapped in a pink blanket, and there's a tiny tube in her nose. The doctor walks out of the room, and a nurse walks in.

"Oh my God, she's perfect Bren," I say smiling.

I look back at him, and he's crying.

"Why are you crying," I ask him.

"Because I'm so happy. I have both of my girls alive," he says hugging me.

"Would you like to hold her," the nurse asks.

"W-We can," I ask her.

She chuckles, "Well of course... as long as we keep the breathing tube in."

She opens the crib and puts Delilah in my arms. Delilah's so tiny that I'm afraid I will hurt her. I rub her face with my pinkie, and her tiny hand wraps around it.

"This is so fucking adorable," Brendon says trying not to cry.

"Language Bren," I whisper smiling at her.

"Sorry, but this is a picture moment," he says pulling his phone out.

"You're a doofus," I laugh as I rock her in my arms.

Brendon takes multiple pictures while I'm rocking her.

"This is going on instagram," he says.

I look down when I feel Delilah sucking on my pinkie. I laugh, and the nurse walks over.

"It looks like she's hungry," the nurse says.

"So where's the bottle," I ask her.

Brendon chuckles, "I don't think that she means the bottle way."

"Oh," I say looking at them embarrassed.

After the whole process of feeding Delilah, Brendon holds her in his arms. He looks like a giant compared to her. I've never seen his face glowing as much as it is now. I grab my phone and take pictures of her and Brendon.

"Here let me take a picture of all three of you," the nurse says.

"Okay," I say as Brendon hands me Delilah.

We take the picture, and Brendon and I sit by the window holding her.

"You know I can talk to the doctor, and have your bed moved into here, so you can be with her," the nurse says.
