Ethan had a nervous twitch. He'd clean whenever he felt himself fading away from reality or he felt as if he couldn't stop himself from falling. He was in the middle of falling head first into submission over the fact he'd driven away the best thing he ever had. You.
Thinking back? Ethan was under a spell. A sirens seduction as he fell victim to Natalies almost impossible lust filled desires. Laying on his bed all Ethan could think about is how much he hurt you - he wasn't blind. He saw the pain in your eyes before the pain you felt suddenly radiated through his nose.
Ethan pattered around his room - picking up discarded clothing and misplaced objects that seemed to wonder on their own. How did his room become to dirty? He wondered if it was because you alway took the time to tidy up when you moved in. He never noticed how much you really did for him until you were no longer around.
Ethan missed you. Every so often he'd find something that reminded him of you. Like the pair of avocado soaks he's brought you from Gelsons because avocado were literally your lifeline. You let Ethan keep them.
Ethan was a broken man - the broken man of his former self. He'd not only broken the women he hopped he'd someday marry but he broke a promise he made to his dad that he'd never hurt a women as bad as he did. He wasn't brought up to be the monster he'd be acting like the past few weeks. Months even.
Ethan couldn't help but sigh as he ran his hands through his hair - frustrated at the situation he found himself in. But not only was he frustrated at himself for destroying what he had with you - his perfect girl, but he was frustrated at the fact Grayson had made you smile in the ways only Ethan hoped he'd get to.
Maybe it was apart of the punishment Ethan was set to face - or maybe it was just the world throwing it back in Ethan's face he'd caused such a strong girl to break. Either way? He missed you so much and he needed you to know that even if you never wanted to speak to him again he needed his twin back. He felt lost without his other half and in all honesty although Grayson would never say it to you, he missed Ethan too.
As Ethan cleaned his room slowly - the existential crisis bubbling under the surface of his tan skin - ethan stumbles upon a bag. A bag that wasn't his. It's fake leather clear as day as Ethan picked up the small handbag. Opening it to find a billion and one pictures of the picturesque model he loved and once had. All printed on polaroid cards. Red lipstick stains on a few.
Ethan's heart raced as he looked through the photos. Some of himself thrown into the mix. A picture of him sleeping in the guest bed back in Hawaii caught Ethan's attention knowing exactly who's bag this was. One in particular standing out - it pained his chest to see. You. Sitting at your dressing table crying in the mirror as you readied yourself.
Ethan wondered why you were crying? Wondered what was racing through your mind to make you cry as much as you were - confused as to why there was red lipstick stained on the corner.
"The actual fuck are these Nat?"

Grayson was the first to wake, his arms tangled around you as your hair fell every which way across his face. Smiling softly Grayson tried not to wake the dead as he shimmied his very tired self from his side of the bed he'd grown to love. Slipping a pair of boxer over his tattooed thighs Grayson pattered quietly out of your room and down the hall as he let out a yawn. Only to stop in his tracks as he noticed the front door of you apartment wife open.
