Waiting | Ateez Seonghwa x reader

11 ~ Trip

You groaned as you slowly open your eyes. You looked to the side to see seonghwa asleep next to you. You had went back to the apartment last night and you both fell asleep almost immediately since you were exhausted from all the crying, you may have changed your clothes but you left your hair wet.

You touched your now dried hair and you were relieved you didn't get sick. You were exhausted from last nights events though, but luckily you had a few days break from classes and so did seonghwa which meant you could both relax at the apartment

You heard a yawn from beside you and seonghwa slowly woke up "ugh I feel like death" he complained while you stumbled out of bed. Seonghwa stumbled behind you as you both walked to the kitchen and got some water. Clearly seonghwa was exhausted as well.

"I feel so exhausted like I haven't slept in days" you croaked out and seonghwa sighed "agreed". You both groaned and sat on the small living room couch as you leaned back ready to fall asleep.

You were just about to close your eyes to attempt to take a nap on the couch until you heard knocking, "hwa you get it" you mumbled out and seonghwa reluctantly got up from the couch "whoever it is better leave, I just want to relax all day" he complained while you nodded your head in agreement.

You then watched as the door was slammed open by seonghwa and soon a very excited yunho and san ran through the doorway practically pushing seonghwa out of the way

"ARE YOU GUYS READY TO GO OUT- oh you two look terrible" san said cutting off his own excited screams as he saw you and seonghwa. You both most likely had bags under your eyes.

"did you two get any sleep-" but yunhos question was cut off when seonghwa angrily mumbled "no we are very tired so leave"

"I admit you two do look tired, but you're not getting out of this. We agreed a month ago that we were going on this trip to the beach for the break" you glared at san as he spoke 

"you want me to go to a BEACH in this condition, I want to sleep. Also it is FALL" you screamed while san chuckled "yes it is, but there are plenty of cabins by the beach and we already rented one" the serious expression on his face made you shiver slightly. You knew san wasn't going to give up

"fine, but I get to sleep in the car" you spat out while san grabbed your wrist and dragged you to your room while yunho dragged seonghwa. You picked out a random bag and shoved some clothes inside but you were sluggish due to being dead tired and san was not having it.

"give me that, I'll do it faster" he took the bag and shoved random sweaters and pants into it. He even grabbed some random clothes lying around your room, even the jacket on your chair. That was hongjoongs but you were too tired and cranky to complain as san packed your things. Then soon the door was pushed open as san dragged you outside. 

You groaned in annoyance and soon you were sliding on a random pair of shoes and so was seonghwa who was just dragged out of his room by yunho. You locked the door and then you were pushed into the back seat of yunho's car beside seonghwa while san sat at the front

"YAY everyone is here, ready to go" san cheered while you grumbled in annoyance as you buckled up and yunho raced off. You felt seonghwa lean his head on your shoulder and you blushed slightly as your heart raced and you distracted yourself by looking out of the car window. It seems like you weren't going to get any sleep, well not with seonghwa leaning on you like this

So you simply admired the sun while you yawned tiredly, you glared at san from the back seat for making you come on this trip and he didn't even look back while he spoke "y/n don't glare at me" you froze while you were definitely scared of san sometimes, how could he see you.

"you scare me sometimes choi san" you breathed out while yunho laughed as he tapped the steering wheel happily along to the soft music coming playing on the radio

You simply went back to admiring the scenery as the time passed and suddenly you were near a bright beach. Your eyes widened while the car parked on the side and you gently shook seonghwa awake "hwa, look at this place. How are we supposed to afford this" you gasped out and seonghwa slowly moved his head up from your shoulder as he woke up and looked out the window. His eyes widened as well and you both stumbled out of the back seat grabbing your bags as you did

"s-san we can't afford this, are you insane" seonghwa hissed out while san walked to the back of the car grabbing his bag and so did yunho. Then they casually slung the bags over their shoulders as they walked over to you and seonghwa. 

"relax, it doesn't cost too much to rent for a couple of days when split between people" yunho stated as he walked to the front of the cabin door and you followed behind with wide eyes still looking at the massive cabin

"even if the cost is split between us this place is huge and must have costed a fortune to rent, it's also beach side. Even between us four we will go broke renting this place" you said exasperated and you felt a headache coming

While you looked at the huge cabin you knew that you were right, even between you four this place would put a large dent in your pockets. You groaned as you looked at the door as yunho tried to put in the key and unlock it

You would be exhausted and broke...great

"it's fine, besides it really isn't expensive split between all of us staying here, all of us will fit-" yunho was cut off and before you could question who 'all of us' was the door opened from the inside and you chocked when you saw bright red hair, you were regretting this trip already.
