Thirty Three

When I get out of the pool, Jongin is laughing. All of them were laughing, Kyungsoo is shaking his head. "Y'all are crazy." He stated, and I gave him a look; "Don't even try to blame this on me." Jongin said and pointed at me: "As if." I say as Kyungsoo and Beakhyun pull me out of the pool, and I frown; "Why are you guys all at home?" I say as they look at each other; "I'm going to do a Vlive, in the game room, in 20 minutes." Baekhyun was quick to reply: "Chanyeol, Chen, Junmyeon, and Sehun isn't home." Kyungsoo stated. "And I just got here." Xiumin said coming up behind Kyungsoo;  Jongin pushes past me, "MARSHMELLOW." He screams, and Minseok holds up his finger; "Don't even," He looked serious but warm at the same time as Jongin laughs;  it becomes clear to me now that all my worries from before had seemed to wash off me.

But just remembering that about an hour ago, the horrible man touched me, and my face falls. Kyungsoo is quick by my side and holds me by my arm. "Oh shit." Jongin says and comes over by my side; "I'll take her back inside so she can rest." He mutters as he picks me up in a cradle position like I can't walk myself. "Jongin, you don't have to carry me." I say softly, "Suho, will kill us if we don't treat you like a princess." He says with a smile. I really don't want Jongin to leave me, but I had to get out of the wet clothes. When I've changed into comfy clothes, Jongin is waiting for my next direction, with a demand of his own: "You have to eat something." He said with a soft tone and placed a tray with soup in front of me. "Promise you'll stay with me?" I ask, and he nods.

"I wish we could end his life," Jongin muttered as he had placed the tray over my lap. "Kyungsoo made soup for you." And I smile as I'm cuddled into bed, Jongin had brought his laptop and started to go through somethings, and when I was done, he left with the dishes and came back with the tray. "You can borrow my computer to watch a movie." He said gently, and I smiled; "But you're staying with me, right?" I asked, and he smirks, "Of course." He plops onto the bed next to me, and I reached out for him. Having to be touched was something my psychiatrist asked me to do, get people to touch you, hold you, hug you, even a small pat. Don't make that into the bad. Let the person be wrong. Jongin complied instantly as he pulled me in so I could lay on his chest. I was utterly exhausted. And I don't think the time was more than 2 pm. And the second I relax against him, my eyes close.

Junmyeon:

"If it weren't for everything you've done for her, I'd kill you." I murmur, "Not like I asked to do it." Jongin replied, "How is she?"

"Exhausted, but she has eaten something at least." I sit down on the side of the bed, "Has she finally told you?" Jongin asks, and I nods: "bout time, I hated not telling you." Jongin places his hand on my shoulder: "the guys know this is going on, but don't keep it a secret too long, I don't think she'll be able to make it." Jongin adds as I continue too nods: "Is Lee around?" I ask, "No, I haven't heard about him all day." He said gently, "Can, you keep the rest of the gang away, including Lee and Tad?" I asks as he turns to watch Lily sleeping on the bed. "Easy peasy," Jongin replied and patted my shoulder as he left the room. I had already changed into sweats and a t-shirt as I climb into bed next to Lily. She was sleeping so peacefully when I pulled her close, her eyes fluttered ever so softly open, and our eyes meet. She smiles softly as I caresses her cheek. I holds her close as I leans in and press my lips to her forehead, then her nose, to her check to her eyelid, working my kisses all the way down to her lips.

She sighs happily when our lips connect, and she seems to relax. I smiles to myself as I studies her sleepy face. She's more fragile than she gives off, and I like that I can actually protect her in my own ways. I hold her close, and the anger towards the man who caused her this much pain start to bubble inside me. I want to destroy him. But here she is, the girl of my dream, and now I had the chance to protect her. And it will be the last thing I'll ever do; I'll always protect her.

Lily:

When I wake up again, I feel recharged, I look at my watch, and it's not more than seven pm. Junmyeon has fallen asleep too, he seems like a dream, his lips partly open, and I can't resist, as I lean in and kiss him only to feel that his lips are reacting, and starts to kiss me back. "If you always wake me up like this, I'll have a good day." He said with sleep drowning his voice, "I'd have to do it to the rest of the guys too then because they would complain I'd mistreat them." I joke as his eyes shot open; "Don't you dare." He says and instantly smiles, I wonder if he's relieved that I feel like myself.

"So, I was thinking... Are you very fond of the clothes you wore today?" He asks softly as he's insisted to cuddle me again, which means I basically insisted, "Not really, why?" Junmyeon moves a little, so he's watching me straight ahead, "Bonfire?" He asks, and I chuckled.

The fireplace at the back yard was already lit. Junmyeon, Jongin, Kyungsoo, and the rest of the gang was with us; "How about we throw away all bad memories and let them burn for a fresh and new start," Junmyeon asks, and the guys cheer on; "Who wants to start?" Junmyeon asks as Sehun steps forward, he holds something white and red and tosses it inside. Junmyeon pats my shoulder: "You should toss yours in to." He smiles, and I nod. "Go Lily," The boys cheer on. I look over, and I see Lee watching me curiously. He can't possibly know what happened today.

Kyungsoo comes out with a set of bottles after each member seemingly threw something away, "A toast, I think is only right." He said as Xiumin and Chen came with a bunch of glasses.

When they are all filled up: "Let's toast for our new manager, and also for new beginnings." Kyungsoo said and lifted his glass towards mine, as they clink together I finally feel some peace.
