"It's a dome. We're at the edge of the arena!" Katniss explained as she hopped down from the tree.
"I couldn't find any signs of fresh water." She said tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"It's gonna get dark soon. We'll be safe with our back protected. We should set up camp. Take turns sleeping. I can take first watch." Finnick said.
"Not a chance." Katniss said shaking her head.
"Honey, that thing I did back there for Peeta. That was called 'saving his life' if I wanted to kill either of you, I would've done it by now." Finnick said standing up and walking towards me. I was sitting down on a rock watching them talk.
"You should take a small nap. I'm gonna stay watch with katniss!" Finnick said sitting next to me.
"Okay, just don't get to frustrated with her!" I said looking at Katniss. Finnick only chuckled and patted his shoulder telling me to lean against him. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder and allowed myself to drift off into a dreamless sleep.
When I woke up, it was to the sound of screaming. My eyes shot yo to see katniss freaking that the fog was poisoned.
We all instantly started to run, the fog touched my finger tips cause excruciating pain to erupt.
I cried out as I followed katniss and peeta through the forest. I saw Peeta fall to the ground, instantly I grabbed his right arm while katniss grabbed his left as we helped him stumble away from the fog.
I heard a loud scream come from Finnick as the fog started to gain on him.
"Finnick" I cried dropping Peeta.
Finnick waved me away as he got mags on his bad a ran towards us. Katniss was shaking at she looked at Finnick.
" We can't carry him" she cried.
Mags tapped Finnick on the shoulder causing Finnick to look at her. She kissed Finnick on the lips before starting to walk towards the fog.
"Mags?" I whispered. She can't be going that.
"Mags?" Finnick called But she ignored him.
"Mags" he screamed as she was engulfed by the fog.
"Finnick, we have to help Peeta!" I said. Finnick looked at Peeta and than back at the fog before picking the boy up.
We quickly limped away from the fog trying to drag Peeta along with us. The fog creeped up against our backs causing hot pain to spread throughout my body. I heard Everyone gran as a hissing sound of the fog burning our backs reached my ears.
I suddenly than felt ya fall down a hill. The fog that slowly crawled down the hill and I couldn't find the energy to move. I slowly watched it get near my feet and almost as if there was an invisible wall between me and the fog. It crawled up the invisible wall and than soon Enough disappeared.
