"Lyanna you can't threaten them if you want them to trust you?" It was faint but I heard his voice causing me to jump out of bed. Finnick was still asleep which made me smile. I didn't want to leave his side but I had to see what the commotion outside was.
When I stepped out of my room Haymitch was there, standing in the living room with Chaff.
"Haymitch, Sugar is here" I hushed him not wanting her to know our plans.
"She left a few minutes ago to get something!" Chaff said leaning against the couch.
"Lyanna"
"Haymitch" he crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes. I could tell he was frustrated.
"You can't threaten Peeta" Haymitch said throwing his hands up in the air.
"I didn't threaten him per se" I defended. I know what I said sounded like a threat but Peeta needed to understand the situation.
"You telling them that you would kill them if they weren't your allies is threatening Lyanna!" Haymitch explained shaking his head.
"I just gave him a 'what if' situation that's all!" I said walking over to the table to gather some food on a plate.
"Bu—" I cut him off.
"It worked though right?" I asked him biting into an apple.
"Yes"
"Than I don't see the problem" I said taking another bite. Haymitch shook his head once more at me.
"Just be nicer" he said before walking out.
"Lyanna" Chaff warned sitting next to me.
"What? They need to understand everyone isn't going to be nice to them. Haymitch knows that, but I must of shook Peeta or even Katniss enough for him to come speak to me about it." I smiled, not going lie but it gave me a weird satisfaction to get under Katniss's skin.
"Speak to you about what?" I turned around to see Finnick rubbing his eyes, he looked amazing, even if he was just waking up.
"Me threatening Peeta and Katniss, which I didn't!" I said catching him up on everything.
He couldn't help but to laugh at me like always.
"I should head back to Mags!" Finnick explained nodding his head towards Chaff as a way of saying goodbye which Chaff nodded back too. Than Finnick threw his arms around my shoulders pulling me into a hug before kissing my head.
"See you at training!" He said before letting go of me and stepped onto the elevator to go back to his floor.
"I don't want to go to training!" I groaned sitting down next to Chaff. All he did was laugh.
