Chap. 35

I call Jack, "Hey.. Cam found out!" I yell into the phone.

I stop at a bench on 15th street, "Fuck! Is he mad?" he asks.

I swallow, "yeah.. thats why I left," I say.

"You left? Like ran away?" he asks loudly.

I sigh, "yeah kinda. I'm on fifteenth street," I say.

"I'll be right there," he says.

I smile, "thanks," I say and then end it.

I scroll through my messages and see one from Cam. It's been about an hour since I left.

Sam, I'm sorry. Please come back home, I don't want anything to happen to you!

I roll my eyes and don't respond. I watch the passing cars, and look across at a line of palm trees. California is really beautiful..

I hear a honk, and see Jack. I smile as he gets out, and hugs me. He pulls me off the ground, and kisses my cheek.

"Let's go to my house?" he says. I nod, "are your parents home?" I ask.

He sets me down, and smiles. "What do you think?" he says laughing. I laugh back, knowing they arent.

We get in the car, and end up at his house in about 5 minutes. He stops the car, and looks at me.

"Thank you, so much," I say staring into his eyes.

He smiles slightly, "anytime,"

We enter the house, and I set my bag in his room. I sit on the bed as he closes the door.

I get another text from Cam..

At least answer. I'll tell my mom that you went to a friends house or something. Just stay away from LA.

I roll my eyes, "Cam is really annoying!" I say.

Jack sits next to me, and puts my hair behind my ear. "I know what can get your mind off him," he says and sucks on my neck.

I smile and moan, "w-what?" I ask.

He pushes me down and straddles me with his legs. "High sex," he says.

I smile as he kisses me, "sure," I say pulling away slightly.

We go outside, smoke some weed, then come inside, eagerer than ever.

He slams me against the wall, removes my shirt and then adds another hickey.

We move to the bed, where we lay almost naked. He kisses me slowly, then pulls away. "Sam?" he asks.

I smile, "yeah?" I ask.

He looks me in the eyes, and clenches his jaw. "I love you."
