Jared snickers, "what? Been here a few months already got a boyfriend? Too bad, Sam is going home," he says getting frustrated.
"No, she isn't. Sorry, pal. She's been doing great all this time," says Jack.
Jared laughs, "you don't tell me what I do or don't do with my sister!" He snaps.
I decide to speak up, "Jared! If you force me to go, I'll just run away back here. I'll just run away!" I say stepping behind Jack.
Everyone looks at me, "why would you do that?" asks Jared.
"Because, I love you and all but I find life easier and better down here. Please understand why," I say.
He stops for a few seconds, "I'll call mom and dad tonight, but I don't like the way this guy here was talking to me!" He says looking at Jack.
"My name is Jack," he says with a deep voice.
Jared looks him in the eyes, "Jack,"
"Bro, honestly Sam has been better down here than I heard she was doing. I mean we've been to a few parties, but who doesn't?" Cam speaks up.
Jared rolls his eyes and looks at me, "Samantha, I'm going to stay at a hotel tonight and call mom and dad in the morning. I'll see you tomorrow," he says, gives Jack a dirty look, and leaves.
I let out a sigh and feel more tears, "w-what if my parents make me g-go home?" I say shaky.
Jack puts his hand on my back, "then we'll run away together," he says which makes me smile.
"That's not happening," says Cam. "Trust me," he finishes then heads up the stairs.
