"No."

Balthazar stood in front of the door, his arms crossed and expression stern. The boy had been frantic all morning, rushing around preparing for the big day that had finally come. The Novak family was finally allowed to watch the cinematic masterpiece that was 'The Princess Bride'.

"Balthazar this is a happy day--" Lucifer started.

"Traumatic." Cas butted in.

"Fine, a traumatic happy day. And we would like to share this happy day--"

"Traumatic." Cas interrupted.

"Yes, we would like share this traumatic happy day with all of the people we love. Not just our family but our friends and significant others."

"I don't care if we love them. This is a family event. Not a friends event. They don't know what happened. They do not understand the pain we went through. The scars we have."

Chuck walked in from the kitchen and looked at the teenagers standing in the doorway and back to his children. He sighed.

"Balthazar let your friends in."

"They're not my friends today."

"Balthazar let them in."

"Fine." Balthazar begrudgingly moved out of the doorway. Dean, Sam, Michael and Adam awkwardly walked in, throwing an apologetic look at Balth.

Everyone had finally arrived, Gabe being a little late after insisting that morning he take a walk to collect his emotions and thoughts and reflect on the day a year ago. But eventually, they were ready to begin.

Dean, daring and bold as ever, decided to address the elephant in the room.

"Are we going to get context for this, or...?"

"No. Because you're not meant to be here." Balthazar put the well-worn disc into the old DVD player. "If you were family, then you'd understand."

"I mean, we could just tell them," Alfie said.

"I'd rather not ruin my image in their eyes," Lucifer admitted. "I was quite an idiot last year."

"You're still an idiot," Anna and Michael said at the same time. They shared a look that said Hey! We thought of the same thing! Before looking back at Lucifer, who pouted.

"We're not allowed to talk about it anyway," Uriel reminded them. "Cas made us sign an NDA, remember?"

"You did?" Dean asked Cas, seated beside him on the couch.

"You'd be surprised how willing they were when I told them what would happen if they didn't sign it."

Dean looked scared but impressed and Cas grinned, completely innocent.

"Alright, let's watch this movie." Balthazar jumped back from the TV, now very excited, and wedged himself between Michael and Lucifer on the couch. He only realised a half-second later when all his siblings gave him a look that said how-dare-you-sit-between-Lucifer-and-his-boyfriend and he jumped up like he'd been burned on hot coals.

He opted for the spot on the floor, next to Sam.

"As you wish," Balthazar repeated, a hand on his heart.

"How many times has he seen this movie?" Dean whispered to Cas.

"SHUSH."
