JiminWhen morning comes, Jimin wakes up to Mikey busting into his room.
"Hey sleepy head!" He shouts. Jimin groans and shoves his head under his pillow.
"Come on, we're having pancakes for breakfast."
Jimin sits up. Pancakes. Yum. He looks at Mikey. "What time is it?" He asks.
"Time for you to get a watch."
Jimin raises an eyebrow.
"It's just past eight."
Jimin gasps and springs out of bed, running to his closet in a hurry.
Mikey peeks in. "You good?" He asks. "Got plans?"
Jimin nods. "I have to be somewhere at nine."
"With who? Oh wait, is it- is it the girl?"
Jimin nods and smiles. Mikey grins. "Wear something warm then. It's a little chilly out."
Jimin nods and Mikey leaves.
Jimin goes through all his shirts and pants and eventually decides on regular jeans and a long sleeve white shirt. It's a little tight but that's okay because he wears a thick yellow hoodie over it.
Jimin combs his hair and leaves the room. He spends the next twenty minutes with his host family to eat breakfast, and soon he's out the door with Mikey shouting behind him, "Don't come back without a girlfriend!"
Jimin looks at his phone and sees nothing from Y/n. Good. She hasn't cancelled.
And when he makes it to the meeting spot, he can see her walking over from a street away.
She's wearing a navy blue jacket lined with soft white fuzz on the inside. It's zipped up to her chin, which is tucked into the jacket to her nose. Cute.
Y/n makes it to the spot and pulls her face out of her jacket. "It's supposed to get warmer," she says. "I hope that's soon."
Jimin smiles. "Did you sleep well?"
She nods. "Me too," Jimin says. "Until Mikey came in and woke me up."
Y/n smiles. Then turns in some other direction. "The park's this way."
Jimin walks by her side as they hurry to a park nearby. It's chilly enough that they can see their breath materialize in the air.
"It gets so cold here, I wish it could at least snow. But we don't get that here," Y/n says. "Does it snow in Korea?"
Jimin nods. "A little bit, yeah."
The park appears into view. It's a playground like the one they went to yesterday, but meant for bigger kids. There's a tunnel, a couple of slides, monkey bars, a fire pole, a bridge, climbing ropes, and stepping stools.
Jimin looks at Y/n, who's shivering underneath her jacket. He laughs. He doesn't even notice how cold it is- he supposes he's not too bothered by it because he likes the cold better than the warmth.
Y/n looks at him. "Are you laughing at me?" She pouts and it's so cute. Jimin shakes his head. "You look like you're freezing."
"And you're not?"
"Not really."
Y/n sighs and pushes her face back down into her jacket. "This is my warmest jacket," she says. "I wish it was bigger."
Jimin laughs and wraps his arms around her. Smooth. He thinks. "Are you hugging me?" She asks, completely flustered.
"It's warmer this way," he says. He moves his arms. "Do you not like it?"
