You wake up on Sunday morning by the sunlight streaming into your room through your not very opaque purple curtains. They're made to block out the light but it still comes in around the sides, so they're really not that useful. At least it makes your room look nice.

After school ended on Friday, you had Jimin call Mikey to let him know that he wasn't at school. Then you gave him more medicine and let him nap more until Mikey came over to pick him up. You weren't letting Jimin walk home even if his house is close by.

You check your phone notifications to see if Jimin texted you at all. He never sleeps in. You figured out yourself and then he confirmed it that he gets up at six every single morning. Never any later.

Jimin

I know it's early right now, but later today, we should hang out
If you want to, that is
I feel loads better today

The messages were sent at four.

Jimin goes to bed late, and wakes up at six. But you never really see how tired Jimin is. He hides it well.

What is keeping him up at night? How is he so used to it? Maybe it was just this time. Maybe he went to bed and didn't actually get up at six. Maybe he's sleep in for once.

Jimin

Yeah let's hang out. It's raining outside so your house or mine?

To your disapproval, Jimin of course, is awake, and he replies immediately.

You choose. And also, thanks for letting me stay over at your house. Sharon doesn't even know I was sick

So he's up- possibly hasn't even slept at all- Sharon doesn't know he was sick, he gets in trouble sometimes and gets severely grounded, not to mention you know he gets punished. The call about a week ago when Sharon started yelling at him in his room was proof for that. Even though you're still not exactly sure what Sharon was saying.

You haven't asked Jimin about that yet. You want to, to make sure nothing fishy is going on, but you're also kind of nervous to admit you did a little snooping. But then again, you didn't think about this before, but isn't it a little weird to get punishments and groundings from a host family?

Like, of course if he does something wrong, he should get in trouble for it, but you haven't known him to do wrong things. What does he get in trouble for?

Wanna come over here?
Also I'm glad you're feeling better. I kind of wanna talk about things

Should I be worried? When do you want me to come over?

Mom isn't awake yet but should be somewhere around ten. She'll want to know if you're coming over.
And no don't worry I'm just curious about things

Okay
I'll be over in about two hours then

You look at your clock. It's 8:07. Does Jimin really not have any other things to do? That's another thing you've noticed about him. He's not like other guys who will wait a few minutes to answer a text just so they don't seem too interested. Jimin answers right away or as soon as he sees it.

And when you ask him to come over, he's never late. Not even by a minute. He's either punctual or early and answers texts quickly, but he's not awkward and nerdy or desperate. It's something you really like about him. He's real.

You don't think you'll go back to sleep even though sleep is precious to you. Knowing that Jimin will come over soon makes your brain start working and your blood pump faster. Thinking about Jimin has the same effect on you as drinking coffee. Except healthier. Instant energy.
