The following week came sooner than you wanted. After your date with Jimin, he drove you home and you said good night to each other, and then hugged for a minute, and then kissed again, and then he left.
And then you couldn't fall asleep- not that you ever do- and you ended up trying to at four in the morning. At which time Jimin texted you asking if you were up.
And you talked for an hour. And you were incredibly lucky that the next day was Sunday, because you slept until 3pm.
Monday was a mess. There was no time to tell Autumn about the kiss. In math, you had assigned seats. During lunch, she went and sat at her crush's table because apparently they started "talking" and she wanted to shoot her shot. In Spanish, the teacher talked too much in preparation for testing.
Well... Autumn will find out later. Not a problem. You would text her but your first kiss seems like a talk to have in person- or at least over the phone, but she had no time.
Tuesday was just as chaotic. It was hard enough to get your previous homework done and turned in, but due to the end of the quarter coming up, there are more and more assignments piling up. Your stress is going to bottle up and blow soon if you don't find something good to think about.
And then there's Jimin. He got in trouble again somehow and he wasn't allowed to see you after school for the week.
Of course, it made you worry, since last time he got in trouble over the phone, it was a little... sketchy. But you didn't ask him about it because one, you don't want to get caught snooping, and two, it's his business. If there was something to worry about, he'll tell you.
It's probably nothing.
So things with Jimin are going nicely, but again, with the stress of school hitting so hard and the lack of time to be together, it's kind of difficult to talk about things or do things.
On Wednesday it was a little better. No drama. Autumn's still talking with Ezra. But she's been completely swept away by him. And it's kind of a problem because she seems to have forgotten about you. Over three days.
And that hurts.
No Spanish in Wednesday's. Only one class with Autumn and there were assigned seats that change every Monday. Jimin was placed near you though. You were really quiet and he asked if you were okay, to which you said yes.
And you will be. Ezra won't be a lasting thing. There's nothing to worry about. It'd only been a few days.
Thursday was okay. The teachers stopped their flow of homework. It was easy in English because Mrs. Brown knew how to not overload her students. So if no one finished their tests, that was okay because she said she'd give everyone time to do it the next day.
Lunch was a nice break from everything because Jimin is the only one who shares Thursday lunch with you. It was quiet that day though.
More like, Jimin knew your were really stressed and decided to give you quiet (and be really sweet) to ease your conscience.
In Spanish you did tests early so by Thursday there was nothing to worry about for that class. Some kids were still testing, so the ones who finished stayed out in the hall to have free time while the others worked with peace and quiet in the classroom.
Autumn was one of the students still testing. And so was Gavin. So you got alone time with Jimin for another hour and a half. The two of you sat against a wall and you fell asleep on his shoulder while he held you.
And now Friday. The last day of the week. You have completed most of your assignments, gone through all the coffee in your house, slept never, and worried about Autumn all week. She didn't text you once.
