I swung opened my locker and gazed at my own things in it.
I smiled to myself. It felt so good to be back in Hilltop.I went through my things and pulled out my nail polish set.
I was going to have a wonderful time with my besties, trying out different nail arts.I closed the door of my locker and almost jumped out of my skin as I saw a guy, standing beside me.
"You have grown more beautiful, honey." he said, with a sly grin.
I rolled my eyes. I really had had enough of that ass, Damon, who was the guy star.
He thought that every girl should crawl after him, not me! I have a self pride.
I gave him a bored look and walked away from him. "Hey, wait up." he yelled, coming after me.
Oh! I so much wanted to bang a pot on his damn head, but I was determined not to waste my time on him.
He grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him." I got you a present, babe." he said and handed me a small parcel.
I put on the same neutral expression and carelessly shoved it away.I shook my arm free and took a step only to find his hand grip my wrist.
I sighed and in a second I had his arm twisted.
He yelped in pain."Keep your hands to yourself." I hissed.
A small crowd was already around us, with shocked expressions.Let this be a lesson to them all. I twisted Damon's arm some more and he begged for forgiveness.
"Oh my god! Zena, let him go." said Henry's voice, behind me.
I let his hand go with a final twist and without a second glance, I marched past the shocked students, absolutely taking no notice of them gaping like fish.
Henry hurried after me, panting. "That was too much, princess." He said. I gave him a blank look.
"Do you really want me to flirt with Damon?" I asked. "No,thank you."
" So, that means you are patiently waiting for your prince Charming, huh?" Henry said, a sly smirk on his face.
I scowled.
"You know that I have no idea of a PRINCE CHARMING." I said in disgust. I never had that kind of relationship with a guy.
" You can't be serious, what's the meaning of a life with no love?"
I rolled my eyes."I will show you that."
More gasps! I entered the class with my bag hanging from my shoulder.
Yeah, it must have been a surprise as I usually don't take my classes.
But, my marks were always presentable, thanks to Lily as well as the private tutors I have had.
Mr. Wilson was not in and I marched toward the desk by the window.
A nerdy looking boy was there, slightly trembling. I cleared my throat and he raised his eyes to meet my gaze. I gestured at him to leave and he immediately shot up and hurried to another place. I gave the students who were staring, a hard look and they turned back to their own work.
Call me arrogant and proud, if you want, but you were never in my place. Mr. Wilson walked in and was much more surprised to see me. "Ms. Adams!" he exclaimed.
"It really is a nice surprise to have you in the class."
Yeah, yeah, I know. I am always a nice surprise.
