Decision

Zena felt as if the whole world stopped.

The moment she felt Lyzender's lips on hers, her body felt frozen despite of the hurricane going inside her.

Thousands of emotions were swirling inside her. The tingles almost exploded in her.

Zena didn't know what cause all those turmoils inside her. Was it the fact that she just received her first kiss or was it the fact that Lyzender Dunbar was the one who kissed her.

LYZENDER FREAKING DUNBAR WAS KISSING HER!

He finally pulled away, breathless. His eyes stared right in to hers, trying to look in to her soul, trying to see past the walls she had built around her, trying to see what she kept hidden behind her emotionless face.

Zena stared back in to his eyes. For a moment, she let her eyes reflect her. She let her eyes reflect her inner soul and the emotions she felt. For a moment, Lyzender saw the broken girl, Audrey inside her.

Zena kept gazing in to his eyes. It was like she was diving in their depths. For a moment, she forgot all the other things. She forgot the world. It was just him and her. She felt as if she could stare in to his eyes forever. She felt as if she could get lost in their depths. Lyzender's left hand was on her waist and with his right, he gently cupped her face. She wanted to close her eyes and enjoy his warmth forever.

Why?

For the millionth time she wondered.

Why did she feel all these things around him?

Suddenly, realization hit her.

There was no going back. There was no denial.

She had fallen for him.

Aubrey's face flashed in her mind. Zena closed her eyes, trying to force her mind clear.

She didn't know what to do. Her mind was in all whirls.

And then, she did the only thing she could think of.
Something the Queen had never done before.

She ran away.

Isla dragged Ethan back to their table where Emma, Lily, Blaze and Tiny were sitting. Jake, Mia, Henry and Edward soon joined them.
Apparently, they had come to a conclusion that Flash was way better than Batman or spiderman.

Isla beamed at them.
"Where's Zena?" She asked.
"Went to get some air, I guess." Blaze said.
Isla nodded.
Ethan looked around, suddenly noticing something.

"Hey. Where's Max?" He asked.

"Yeah. I didn't see him for some time." Isla said.
"The last time I saw him was when he was...." Her eyes widened in horror.
"Oh my god! The last time I saw him was when he was flirting with Emma!"

Isla shared a look of terror with Lily.

Ethan looked confused.

Isla turned to Emma.

"Emma, what did you do to him?" She demanded.

"He was being a pain, flirting like a jerk." Emma said as a matter of fact.

Mia gasped.
"Oh my god! You killed him!" She yelled, earning looks from other students. She quickly hushed herself and said in a much lower voice.
"Did you hide the body? Or do I need to help you to dump it? Should I fetch a shovel?" Her eyes shone with excitement.

Isla buried her face in her palms and Lily face palmed. Henry and Edward shared a look as if they wanted to help Mia dump the body. Jake looked terrified as he silently pulled his chair as far as possible from Mia.
