"Get that ball, Henry!" I shrieked.Henry at once flung himself on the ball, yelling like a mad man.
We all were by the lake Jake mentioned and it really was a beautiful place. Isla was sunbathing and so was Max. He joined her, saying that he needed to get himself tanned in order to make girls swoon over him. I had already realized that he was the flirt of the group. Lily was peacefully reading under the shade of a huge tree and kept yelling at Edward who was on it, time to time. Edward was eating a bag of peanuts, sitting on a branch and kept throwing peanuts at Lily. He really was Henry's cousin.
Lyzender as well as Blaze were working on their phones in a corner. Ethan, Jake, Henry, Mia, Emma and I were playing a ball game. It really was silly as we kept passing the ball to each other and tackling each other on to the ground now and then. I had removed my jacket and was in my blue shirt and shorts.
I watched as Mia tackled Henry and Jake snatch the ball as it was released from Henry's grip. Henry got up and charged at Jake, a murderous look on his face. "No one take my ball and get away with it." He roared. I laughed my head off, along with Mia and Ethan as he flung himself on a frightened Jake, knocking him over and the two went rolling and rolling down and fell in to the lake with a huge splash. Emma smirked.
I laughed as the two boys swam around, chasing each other. "Come on, let's join them." I said, running to the lake. I pulled off off my shoes and jumped in to the water. It wasn't much cold but it was refreshing.
I swam up to the two fighting boys and pushed myself between them, forcing them to opposite sides. Ethan, Mia and Emma reached us, grinning.
"The water is refreshing." Ethan said. I nodded. "Let's have a race." Henry said, smirking. "I'm sure to win."****
"Woah! Ethan! You are a good swimmer!" I said admiringly.
He smiled. "Still not good as you, Zena." He smiled.
I smiled back at him. Our swimming race was over and I was amazed to find out that Ethan was really good. He nearly beat me!
"Now, you watered her ego!" Henry said, putting on a horrified a expression. "How are we gonna live with her and her swollen head."
"Ass!" I laughed and splashed water at him. He grinned and returned my favor. Soon the two of us were splashing water at each other like five year olds."Stop it, idiots." Emma shouted. "You are acting like five year olds when you are seventeen!"
"Ummm.. Actually, seventeen and half." Henry put in with a solemn face, making Emma give him a murderous glare."Jeez! Ems, cool down." Henry said, smirking and he splashed water at Emma as well as me. I immediately splashed back at him. "Stop it!" Emma yelled, again.
We stopped at once. I shared a look with Henry. "Yes mom!" We chanted , grinning like fools."Ow, what a shame." Mia and Jake said in unison. "We were just about to join you."
I laughed and so did Henry and Ethan.
Ethan passed me the ball. "Let's play some water ball game." He suggested. We all nodded at once.
"Wait a minute." I said, before turning around to face the bank. "Hey, are you joining us in a game?" I yelled at the others. Isla said no as she wanted to lay out a rug and arranged our picnic. Lily wanted to finish her book, saying that it was very interesting. Edward came running to join us and Max was busy chatting with his newest girl.
"Blaze, are you coming?" I shouted. He shook his head ,engrossed in his cell. I rolled my eyes as I get out of the water and made my way toward him and Lyzender. "Come on Blaze, it's just one game, please." I pleaded, giving him my best puppy dog eyes.
