And the rest of the Outer Banks cast as themselves

No one really understood why Shaye Bennett hung out with them. Not the people at the kook academy, and especially not her parents, who were known as some of the richest socialites on Figure 8 in Outer Banks. But she did. They were her people.

She met Kie first. Kiara, Shaye, and Sarah Cameron used to be best friends in the ninth grade. Until Sarah decided to ditch them. But it was fine. Kie and Shaye would stick together. Always. After that they met the boys.

Shaye had a special place in her heart for each one of them. John B was her brother. Everyone knew it too. They fought like siblings all the time, and before Big John passed he was like a second father to her. Pope was also like a brother, but more of the kind that helps you with your math homework and gives amazing advice.

Then there was JJ, he was her everything. From the moment he tried to teach her to surf (then saved her from drowning) she knew she wanted him in her life forever. Everyone else knew JJ was completely in love with her. It was only a matter of time before they stopped being scared and told each other.

But you know the rule, no pogue on pogue macking. Right?
