~Movie Night~
It was that evening when Kie decided to drag Pope, JJ, and Shaye to some movie. Shaye was all for it, but the boys were too busy worrying about the boat situation.
"I'm so glad that they're still doing this" Kie sighed as everyone lugged chairs and coolers. "Keep calm carry on. Back to the OBX life. You know? Aren't you glad I made you come?"
Shaye nodded her head and looped her arm through Kie's. They hadn't relaxed in a while. It would be good. "Ecstatic" Pope mumbled sarcastically
"My couch was pretty comfy I'll be honest" Was JJ's answer. Shaye just smacked him in the arm as a warning.
JJ and Pope began whispering to each other about being in kook land or whatever, but Kie dragged Shaye to get drinks. The duo made it to the concessions and Kie ordered two pepsi's.
"Hey Kie and Shaye" Rafe's voice suddenly sounded making Shaye want to gag. "Hey what's up" He said again standing beside them.
Kie ignored him and payed the man. Shaye just raised her eyebrows, showing that the two weren't interested in talking to him. "How are you?" Rafe asked Shaye smirking
"I'm fine" She answered shortly
"Good, good. Um..." He started now talking to Kie "Tell your boy that we know what he did" Rafe finished
Shaye went still, trying not to give anything away. Well, this isn't good. "Sorry what boy are you talking about" Kie asked genuinely confused
"Looks like Shaye knows" He smirked. Looking at her worried expression.
"Don't address me like I'm not here" She snapped.
She started to walk away but Rafe grabbed her arm. "I'm getting kinda tired of you always turning me down Shaye. Maybe you should reconsider that offer I made you a while ago?" He asked with a sly smile.
Ripping her arm from his grasp, she said "You're a pig" And stormed off as Kie looked confused but called him a douche and followed behind Shaye.
"Just saw Rafe, and he said, and I quote 'tell your boy that we know what he did'. What is that? He also said a few other things that I didn't understand..." She muttered looking to Shaye who shook her head as a sign to let it go.
JJ looked at Shaye with a question but focused on the first part for now. "Um...where is he?" JJ asked trying to stay calm.
"Right there" Shaye said as everyone turned around to see Rafe, Topper, and Kelce all looking back at them with smiles.
"Great the whole death squad" Pope's voice cracked as JJ turned his head back to face forward again.
"Don't stare bro!" He whisper yelled "Just warning you bro, if they corner me, I'm coming out swingin, okay? Slice and dicin. I'm on edge right now"
