I don't really know what to write for this one.. I was going to use it as a vent, but I just, didn't want to, so I came up with a layout of sorts for my entries. It's going to be like this ;
"Date
Questions from you
Feelings
Main text
Song of the day
Question for you"
That's not bad, right? I guess anyone who reads this can comment any questions and then in the next entry I'll answer them? That's not a bad idea. You can comment them or message them, whatever.
To entertain you,I'll type up my English speech on Depression here. It wasn't bad.
Giles Andreae once said, "Here is the tragedy: when you are the victim of depression, not only do you feel utterly helpless and abandoned by the world, but you also know that very few people can understand, or even begin to believe that life can be this painful. There is nothing I can think of that is quite as islating as this."
Everyone, as one point, has felt upset or sad, but these feelings are usually short lived. Depression is long term. It won't pass in a few hours or days. Weeks, months, maybe even years will go by before it passes.
Depression is a serious mental illness, that is often categorized as "laziness." It is not laziness. Depression affects multiple things in everyday life. You lack the ability to work, sleep, eat, and enjoy life.
To a depressed person, everything they found fun, isn't fun anymore. It's hard to get out of bed in the morning, and you're tired all the time. You feel sad constantly, and you feel anxious or empty. You feel guilty, worthless, and helpless. You're irritable, restless, and you sleep a lot. You don't enjoy anything anymore. You might overeat, you might not eat enough. Seems like a lot, doesn't it? That's just the borderline of symptoms.
Depression can be caused by several different things. Most people who suffer from depression can't even think of where their own depression originated from. The term depression cam from the Latin verb deprimere, which means, "to press down." Fifty years ago, the average age of occurance was 29-31. Now, in the end of 2014, the average at is 14-16. This is because teenagers are at more of a risk to suffer because of learning or anxiety disorders, considerable stress, trauma, facing a significant loss, and conduct disorders.
Depression isn't easy to talk about. Lately, depressed people are more likely to complain about aches, pains, and lack of sleep. This is because depression is considered an adult illness, and is not taken seriously in teenagers.
In society, the stigma of depression is worldwide. People believe that because it cannot be seen, it can't be as severe as it actually is.
The treatment for depression is small. Anti-depressants, therapy, and counseling. Most depressed people feeling like they're alone, even in a crowded room.
Keep that in mind before you make that, "I'm so depressed :(((" post because you failed a test that you didn't even bother studying for.
Et a la fin
So, there's the layout from now on, hopefully it's more organized ^-^
