Golden eyes
Eyes as empty as the space
Where my heart should've been
Scars fresh over my skin
And blood red lipsSmiling blood red lips
A fake smile
Can't anyone see the sadness
In those golden eyes?Strange laughing, strange sound
Warm and comforting
Making the room drop in degrees
Loosening my throat from anxietyBut tying a noose around my neck
When silence grows
Anxiety grows
Suffocating all feelings of peaceLooking into those golden eyes
Empty of any light
I can see those blood red lips
Glowing in the faint light absent from those eyes
