Golden eyes
Eyes as empty as the space
Where my heart should've been
Scars fresh over my skin
And blood red lips
Smiling blood red lips
A fake smile
Can't anyone see the sadness
In those golden eyes?
Strange laughing, strange sound
Warm and comforting
Making the room drop in degrees
Loosening my throat from anxiety
But tying a noose around my neck
When silence grows
Anxiety grows
Suffocating all feelings of peace
Looking into those golden eyes
Empty of any light
I can see those blood red lips
Glowing in the faint light absent from those eyes
