Stranger
I met a stranger today
He told me I looked pretty
With my jeans and my hoody
And my hair wet with rain
I met a stranger today
It was a bad day
But he made it all right
He made it worth it to life
I met a stranger today
I didn't see his face
Thought the shining screen
But he made my day
I met a stranger today
He read my poems
And he made my day
Telling me they were pretty
I met a stranger today
And he managed to do
What neither my friends or family did
He made me happy, because of his sincerity
I met a stranger today
I though about my poems
And complimented his hair
And his smile made my day
I met a stranger today
And I hope you did too
I hope you met a kind stranger
Who told you you were pretty too
