(3rd person) pov

You and Yō have been childhood friends along with Chika, and Kanan. To be quite frank your actually pretty dense. Anyone could tell Yō had a crush on you. You just seemed to not get the hint.

You watched Aqours practice. Chika and Yō dragged you into this whole school idol thing. You didn't mind you actually enjoyed Aqours company. "Alright we're done with practice for today." You passed them towels and water bottles. "Thanks." Dia said. You nodded. "Yō-Chan and (Y/n)-Chan should go think of some costumes!" You didn't really have a sense of fashion. You gave Mari a confused look. "I actually have to get home." "Chika-Chan and I will walk (Y/n)-Chan home!" Yō said. "Alright then let's go." You walked with them but Yō seemed a bit off. "Yō-Chan are you ok?" She looked at you pink dusted on her face. "Hey!! Do you have a fever??" You put your hand on her face causing her to turn even more pink. "Jeez your burning hot. Do you need anything?" She looked away. "N-no!!" Chika pulled Yō aside. "She's quite dense huh?" Yō nodded. Soon you guys were at your house. "Thank you guys for walking me home. I'll get going now." "Yousoro!" Yō said as a goodbye. You smiled and went inside your house. They left and continued chatting about you.

"You should invite her to a 'date'" Yō's face turned red. "Maybe to the ocean? You guys can fly a kite. Swim in the ocean set up a picnic." Yō nodded. "I'll ask her tomorrow." Chika smiled. "I'll go home now. Have fun with (Y/n)-Chan tomorrow!" Yō waved and she walked home. She couldn't get you off her mind. She just wanted to be the best for you.

~~~Timeskip: The next day~~~

Yō called your phone early in the morning. She asked if you wanted to go to the beach. You accepted and currently your both getting ready to meet there. You packed a extra pair of clothes and a few towels then called her phone. "Hey, do you want me to bring anything?" "Nope! You can leave it all to me!" "No, I can't just do that haha. I'll bring ice cream." "Yousoro! I'll meet you there." You smiled to yourself and went to go pack up the ice cream in your kooler. (Idk how to spell it LMFAO)

"Hey! Yō-Chan!!" "Hey (Y/n)-Chan!!" "What do you want to do?" You gave her a closed eye smile. Yō blushed at your cuteness. "I'm fine with anything you want to do." You smirked and dragged her near the ocean. You grabbed a handful of water and threw it on her. She giggled. "It's on (Y/n)-Chan!" Soon you both were in the water splashing in the shallow water. You guys were pushing each other around. You stumbled over and fell on top of her. "Are you ok?" Yō looked at you and blushed. "Haha. Yes I'm ok!" You got up and pulled her up. "Thanks." A frantic look began to appear on your face. "We forgot about the ice cream and stuff!" You ran to the kooler and pulled out the ice cream. Yō walked over to you. "I have towels." You pulled out the towels and handed her one. "Thanks you." You guys sat in the sand and ate you ice cream.

"Hey (Y/n) I need to tell you something." You turned to her. "What is it??" "I.. I love you." You smiled. "I love you too. We're friends after all." Yō got up. "I'll be going home.. Sorry." You were confused. Somewhere in the shadows Aqours was watching you two. Mari came up behind you. "Tsk tsk tsk. That's not what she meant by I love you." "Hm? Mari-Chan! Wait what are you doing here?" "We just wanted to come to the beach." Dia said. "(Y/n) in what type of way do you love Yō-Chan." "Friends of course!" "This is going to be harder than I thought." Soon the three were asking you a bunch of questions. "(Y/n)-Chan what we mean is. Do you have a crush on Yō-Chan." You blushed lightly. "Well.. I have always liked her more than you guys." The three huddled up and talked to each other. "You should go talk to her. She's probably a bit hurt. (Y/n)-Chan Yō has a crush on you." "Wait she does?" "YES!" "I'll go to her house!!" "Good luck!"

You frantically knocked on Yō's door. She opened it up. "(Y/n)-Chan-" You pressed your lips against hers. She was hesitant but melted into it. You pulled away. "Sorry, I didn't know you meant it like that." You pulled Yō into a hug. She began to cry on your shoulder. "Hey, don't cry Yō-Chan." She hugged you tighter. "Wait does this mean that we're together now?" You asked. "Yes, it does mean that." "That's good." You kissed her again the moonlight was shining on you guys. You were quite dense but you sort of understood the meaning of love. Well, you were happy with her and that's all you could need.
