There is nothing that can be worse than that deadly situation.

Luhan got accused for the murder.

When I asked Kris why Luhan can attend this school if he is an enchanter, he simply answered that even though magicians hate enchanters, if the enchanter decided to attend the magician’s school, promising that they won’t use any dark magic, they can freely attend the school.

For Luhan, he was born with dark magic but he had the magic limiter on as they ordered.

There is no way Luhan could kill a girl. Yes, I only knew him for a week but I understood Luhan.

He will never kill a girl.

I ran to Luhan as soon as Kris explained to me about enchanters fully. I went to nurse’s office but she told me that Luhan’s already left. So I rushed to male’s dorms even though it’s not allowed. I called out Luhan but there were no responds. I bet he already knew what happened.

I opened each door forcefully, not caring about breaking it or not. Finally after opening 100 doors, I saw Luhan in the room. His room was dark and the sunlight was blocked by the curtains but his room was fully organized. It smelled like fresh air. Then I saw Luhan crawling in the corner.

“Luhan.” I called out.

“I want to be normal. I didn’t ask to be an enchanter.” He yelled, making me flinch because it’s the first time he yelled at me. “I want to get accepted by everybody but no. Things get worse every day.”He cried out.

I went over to him, not knowing what to do. Let’s just say that he killed her, I should be afraid of him but I didn’t care.

Because he was my friend.

“I know you didn’t kill her. You just got discharged from nurse. There is no way you can kill her.” I assured him.

He shook his head and said “You don’t know anything. I was heading to my room but somebody in dark cloak killed her and I saw that tattoo.” He paused. “There is no witness to prove that I didn’t kill her.”

I didn’t say anything. He was right. There was no way to prove that Luhan didn’t murder her. “Truth always comes out. Don’t give up! I will help you.”

“Please just leave me alone.” He pleaded. Since he said ‘please’, I had no choice but to go away. Before I closed the door, I can hear Luhan saying “Thank you for believing in me.”

You’re welcome. I didn’t say that. He was too tired to speak. The drama and killing got him.

Not to mention, Kris was already on the case of murder.

Then bam! An idea came to my head. I rushed to Kris and said “Remember that Luhan had a magic limiter?”

“Yeah.” Kris looked at me as I was catching my breath.

“So there is no way he could kill her. Right? Because he cannot use magic!” I snapped at him and I was proud of myself that I came to conclusion that I was awesome.

“No.” Kris said harshly which makes my smile drop to the ground. “The tattoo is not magic. It’s the power that come when they are born.”

Ughhhh. Why does Kris need to be that smart?

Maybe that’s why I hated him. I stomped out and tried to prove that Luhan was innocent but I couldn’t.

The security got tighter and even in the classroom, there was one person with teacher who kept his/her eyes on us.

It was creepy as hell.

Luhan didn’t come to class and the people are whispering about how Luhan is being interrogated. Of coruse, Mr.Fear didn’t come to class either.

Overhead, lighting crackled and thunder boomed. The sky was full with gray clouds which covered the sun fully.

Protect your friends and they will protect you back. I looked around to see if anybody is talking but it turned out there was nobody. I kind of freaked out on the spot. The rain poured down on me but I didn’t move. I was waiting the voice to talk to me again. “Jaeyeong!” I flinched when I heard my name, causing the ground to freeze.  Then I saw Kris slipped and muttering some cursing words to me.

“What are you doing under the rain? Waiting for some boy to kiss you and create a romantic moment?” He teased.

I was not in the mood to talk to him, so I ignored him and walked away. How could he tease me when Luhan was in danger?

That guy has no heart.

I waited for the curfew to be over and sneaked into male’s dorm. I opened Luhan’s door which seemed to unlock and everything was normal except that there was no Luhan. He went back to his homeland. He tried hard to blend in with people but nobody appreciated him.

“Shut it!” I mumbled. I had gotten a lot of messages inside me since that girl died. I thought I could talk and communicate with people but I was wrong. It was a man’s voice.  I felt like I knew the voice but it’s clear that it was neither Kris nor Luhan.

“You cannot just run away. People need to know the damn truth.” I lectured to nobody. “Whether you like it or not, Luhan, I am going to bring you back here and show that you are innocent.” I huffed angrily.

I walked out the room and saw somebody with a smirk. Guess Who.

Kris.
