23 (Legendary Dragon's Soul)

Luhan and I sat in the restaurant as Kris talked with his mom. She was actually if she didn’t have that hate look which annoys me very much. I looked at Luhan who was looking at mother and son bonding time as if Kris’ mom was going to kill his own son. Her hate look made her evil woman, I guess.

“Kris is lucky that he found his mom again.” Luhan sighed. “I never see my mom for once.”

Wait! What? Then what about the queen back in the castle? I narrowed my eyes at him and he answered as if he read my mind. “That’s my step mother. She is the 2nd wife that my dad married.” My mouth formed an O and I nodded. “So how about your mom? I heard that you live with her in the mortal world.”

I thought not to talk about my mom or not but I decided to tell about my dad instead. “I have something to tell you, Luhan. My dad and my mom.” I paused. “When we first arrived here, I saw a woman spirit telling me that I am a half blood and I needed to find the murderer to prove my dad I am worthy.” I sighed.

“So your dad is magician and your mom is enchanter?” Luhan asked.

I shook my head. “My mom looks awfully normal and she acts like a normal mother. I doubt that she have she has some kind of awesome power but I don’t know, Luhan.”

“Hey, after we caught that murderer, I will help you.” He smiled and messed up my hair.

I smiled and said “Thanks.” I fixed my hair. If Luhan was a flirt like Sehun, Ziemlich would probably go after Luhan but I had him. Lucky me. Actually if I looked at Luhan closely, he was attractive. I studied his feature and despite his baby look, he’s actually handsome prince.

“Okay. Stop flirting!” I heard a familiar voice behind. “And don’t talk like Luhan is the hottest guy in three worlds.” Kris continued. “Let’s go back to that fortune teller and asked where exactly that house is. I don’t want to waste time finding that freaking house.”

Wow. Geesh. What gotten into him? And if he wanted me to think he’s handsome and hot, why didn’t he just say so?

I stood up but I sat back down because Kris broke the table into half. “Damn it.” He kicked the pieces of the tables.

Luhan and I blinked at him with confusion but we didn’t say anything to him. His face was red and he looked like he was going to explode soon any minute. I was scared. He looked scarier than the monsters.

“I am sorry.” Kris muttered under his breath. Luhan stepped out this extremely awkward and scary situation and said “What happened?” Then he sat down near me. I wanted to scoot away from him. My heart was pounding. What if he got mad again, took out his sword, slaughtered everyone near him?

Not to mention, the first victim would be me.

I had a life and a dream to marry and have kids. Okay?

“Have you ever heard of Drage , the legendary ruler of all dragons?” Kris asked as he looked at me. How do I supposed to know? If I did know, I couldn’t answer it. He was looking at me with his icy and cold eyes as if I did something wrong. He never looked at me like that.

“Yeah. I heard of that but it was extinct after Rurdon became immortal. She killed all of them.” Luhan answered.

“Apparently my mom said Drage’s soul is in me and remember the Eruer, the immortal queen who controlled the deaths? Somebody is doing her resurrection.”

And I was like an idiot sitting and listening to stuffs that I had no idea. I know I’ve missed something, as if a puzzle piece fell out of the universe and left me staring in the blank place behind it.

“Actually, you could be Drage. It can control fear and see the future, like you except that future part. And if Eruer is coming back, there is only one person or a dragon that can prevent it. Drage which is you now.” Luhan said and Kris’s face fell on the ground as if the world is crashing down on him.

Even though I didn’t understand what they were talking about, I could guess that it was a bad thing. Kris looked at me with his cold eyes and then back to Luhan and said “We can worry about that later. Let’s just find that criminal. I want to go back to my dorm safe and sound.”

Seriously, what was Kris’ problem?

He didn’t talk to me and he was ignoring me. I followed them as they walked ahead, leaving me behind.

I hate both of them .

Luhan suddenly turned back and said “We don’t want to lose you. Don’t stay far back from us.” He held my wrist and placed me between Kris and him. Kris looked at me again, so I stared back at him with what’s your problem look. He ignored the look and looked somewhere else.

Jerk! Jerk! Jerk! Go die! I crossed my arm across the chest and started talking to Luhan. We arrived back at the fortune teller house. Kris knocked on the door again and she came out. He didn’t let her talk and said “Tell me the exact location of the house.”

“I don’t do precise thinking. Future can change.” She said.

“Then at least tell me the surroundings.” Kris’ anger shot up and his voice became louder.

She closed her eyes and said “It’s near the fountain of Biodine.”

What the heck is that?

“I know where it is.” Kris said as he stormed out of the alley. He really did have anger issues like Sehun said .

After 10 minutes of walking, we came to fountain of something. Then I realized that there is a hill and on the top of the hill, there is a house that the spirit mentioned.

“Let’s go!” Kris shouted again as he walked to the top of the hill. And I lost my cap of the anger bottle.

“I don’t know what is your problem but you don’t need to get bossy and angry all the time.” I shouted back.

He looked at me again and shouted in my face. “Well, if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here. All thanks to you.”

“Nobody asked to come with me. You are the one who said you are coming with me no matter what I said.” I shot back and stomped to the house. Suddenly the ground shook and the uh-oh chills sent down to my shiver.

I looked at my right and guess what.

The big lion was coming at me and then all I could see was darkness after that.
