The next day after breakfast, Kris told us his dream. “We need to go to this restaurant to meet the fortune teller.” He said a frown. As much as he doesn’t want to go there, his dream is telling him.

I didn’t know why Kris believed in his dream but it’s kind of made sense.

“Then let’s go there.” Luhan tries to be enthusiastic but I am guessing he is tired.

He has fought monsters because of the quest. You see last night the girl came to Luhan, yelling and crying. She asked us to save her mom in the forest. That little baby faced didn’t wake us up and went there to fight the monsters alone.

What a Knight in shining armor!

After that, the girl was clinging on him ever since.  She was the daughter of the owner of this restaurant, so she gave us expensive food for free.

She should come out and give us the food the first time, so we wouldn’t need to go to Love Ride.

That was a horrible moment to remember anyway.

“Do you even know what the restaurant name is? ” I asked, gulping every delicious food down in my stomach.

He closed his eyes and said “Lucre!”

“And do you know where it is?” I didn’t look at him because the foods were freaking delicious. Did I mention that already? And there were no answers, so I looked up Kris and he was staring at me. “What’s your problem?”

“Stop eating like a pig!” He said with a sigh. “And I had no idea where the heck Lucre Restaurant is.”

Then Luhan asked that restaurant girl immediately. “Do you know where Lucre restaurant is?”

I could see a terror shot up in her face and her eyes were wide that they looked like they were going to come out. “You...know…” She stuttered. “I don’t recommend the restaurant.”

“Why?” Kris asked with curiosity.

“It had shut down 3 years ago because of the four years old girl died for no reason. After that, some said she had been haunting everyone who came near that restaurant. Very scary.” She froze in the spot and looked at us.

“Tell us where that thing locates.” Luhan said. “Don’t ask us any questions about that.” He said with a smile.

Luhan was right. The less she knew, the better it was for us to find the murderer secretly.

Even though it didn’t ask that secretly because I needed to complete this in order to prove my dad that I was worthy. And seem like whenever I was alone, weird people popped out in front me and reminded me about that over and over and over again.

Kind of annoyed me though.

I didn’t want that crazy fact to get in my mind but I couldn't help it.

And I didn’t plan to tell Luhan or Kris.

After all we walked freaking 9 miles, we finally arrived at the Fire Land. I was kind of surprised that Lucre is in Fire Land.

Two birds with one stone and Kris’ dream made sense.

And Fire Land doesn’t seem like way I imagined. I expected the fire breathing monster welcoming us, the fire castle, the people who could use fire, and the last of all, the houses on fire.

But it was none of that. It was exactly same as the last town we visited. People were busy with their own business, flying people, and etc. “Why do they call this Fire Land?” I muttered under my breath.

“It’s just they divided in 4 lands. They named each land with the 4 powerful sources. Thought you paid attention in History class.” Kris smirked.

I hated him.

After I said  that “History class” thing, it had been trending between Kris and me. Whenever he had chance, he would throw me that and smirked.

We arrived at the street corner that nobody is around, Kris knocked on the door.

“You know that they said this is creepy and the ghosts are haunting here. I didn’t see a single ghost.” I told Luhan but he was looking around our surrounding.

“What business do you have here?” A white girl with blue dress came out in front of Kris, making him jumped in surprise.

Correction: A spirit. Seems like she can go through the door. After all, she is dead already.

“I want to see the fortune teller!” Kris said with a cool image.

The girl spirit blinks and bowed down to us. “Your wish is my command.”

“What?” I blurted out.

“Half-blood. I see.” She stood up and walked toward me. “Your dad will be very proud of you.”

Again with this dad topic.

Kris and Luhan looked at me and I avoided their stares. I was not ready to tell them yet. “Just do your job.” I shook off her hands since she was holding me.

“Very well.” Her eyes became violet and pointed to Kris “Do not trust anyone. The emotional and physical pain will get to you. The resurrectionwill be happening very soon and people will die. Your loved one will die as well.”The crystal ball appeared in her hand and showed the very old house. “Your enemy will be waiting for you there.”  Her eyes turned to normal and said “Keep everything secret and continue your journey.”

Kris looked at her in disbelief. I was sure we didn’t understand what she said.

Not to mention, people here in this Land have trust issues.

“What does she mean by resurrection?” Luhan asked himself.

“And where the hell do we find that house?” I asked.

“My loved one.” Kris mumbled. “Trust.” He sighed. “Let’s just go find that damn house.” He looked at me.

And I knew he wanted to know about my dad and me.

We started walking around the town and I recited what I was going to say about my dad to Kris and Luhan.

I took a deep breath and before I could say anything, someone appeared with cloak in front us. I looked at her in curiosity, hiding behind Kris. She looked creepy.

She showed her face and her eyes went to Kris. “Hello, Yifan.”

Yifan? Who the hell is he?

Without saying anything, Kris drew his sword and gritted his teeth. “How do you know my real name?”

So Kris is not his real name and he didn’t tell me?

“Because I am your mom.”

Wait! What?
