18 (The Truth)

I regretted that I brought Kris to this Enchanters’ Land. Getting captured in a jail and waiting for Luhan to save me from the prison is totally not in my to-do list. I was supposed to save Luhan and I am relying on Luhan to get me out from this prison.

So heroic of me.

“Both of you, shut up!” I turned around and yelled at Sehun and Kris. They have been fighting for a long time. Sehun got in the prison since he was the one who brought me into the castle. Kris came here to bring me back, so three of them ended in the same cell.

At least, get me a separate cell if you are going to put me in jail.

“He is the one who cause trouble. When I get out of the jail, I will give you death sentence!” Sehun grinned.

“Oh yeah? I will make you cry like a little kid before I am dead.” Kris argued back.

“Nobody is dying and crying like a little kid. So please be quiet!” I sighed. I couldn’t believe how those two have energy to fight while I was  saving the energy to get out of here.

“Well, if you didn’t plan to save Luhan, I would be in dorm, eating chips and drinking soda peacefully!” Kris growled.

“He is my friend and I am going to save him no matter what. And nobody asked you to come with me!” I argued back.

“Does he look like he needs your help? He looks fine.” He pointed out.

“He’s emotionally hurt.” I corrected him.

Before he could say anything, the guard come in and shouted “Shut Up! You guys are annoying!”

“Said that to my face.” Sehun stood up and yelled. “Release me now.”

“Can’t. King’s order.” The guard shrugged.

“When I get out, we will see who is going to get death sentence. “ Sehun screamed as the guard walked away.

“We are hopeless.” I declared as I lied down on the ground.

“You are just scared. It’s not hopeless. There is a big difference.” Kris pointed out. I was not sure he said that to make me feel better but having him near me makes me feel less scared.

But I wasn’t going to show that feeling toward him. The guard comes back and said “Where is Jaeyeong?”

“What are you going to do if I told you who Jaeyeong is?” Kris smirked and the guard just shook his head.

“Prince Luhan sent you a letter and some food.” He handed me and bowed.

The boys couldn’t believe what he just said and Sehun started to argue. “I can’t believe this. Luhan ignored his own brother and gives a random girl food.” He looked at me and said “You better share me some.”

“Luhan is a jerk and he only cares about Jaeyeong’s pretty face.” Kris agreed.

I looked at Kris, didn’t know to take “pretty face” as an insult or compliment. I opened the letter and started reading.

Just don’t be stubborn and start eating those foods. I will try to get you out as soon as possible. I am not sure I can get Kris out since he broke into the castle. My father thinks that he is a threat.
P.S: Don’t worry about me that much. Just try to get out whenever you have a chance. I will be fine here.

Screw the letter. I decided that I am not leaving without him. Sehun and Kris started to gulp down those food before I said yes but I figured out that they might be hungry because all too much arguments.

“Since you let me eat your food, I will tell you a way out of here!” Sehun announced.

“You know the way out? Why didn’t you tell us sooner?” Kris yelled.

“Couldn’t think without food and she is no mood to give me kisses.” Sehun smirked. I wanted to kill him. Maybe BBQ him and feed it to five headed dragon.

“Then let’s go now!”

“This is a suicide mission!” Kris said, frowning.

 “Only way to escape this deadly castle.” Sehun smiled. “What are we going to do now?”

We had come to a dead end and jumping down the cliff was the only option to escape the castle without warning the guards. Then I remembered something. “How about Luhan?”

“Oh, Man! She still thinks about Luhan at this time!” Kris mumbled. “Fine, you guys go ahead and I will get Luhan.”

“What? Do you want to get killed? Remember he has a touch of death. Everything that he touches dies, so I will go.” I volunteered.

“Last time you went, it only causes me problems.” Kris argues back.

“Oh the couples’ fight!” Sehun sighed. “Luhan is waiting for you guys under the cliff.” He looked at us and he believed that we didn’t trust him. “Believe me. I already told Cyber to bring Luhan down before they arrest me. I planned everything.”

Sometimes Sehun can be a good guy. “Luhan!” I screamed as he looked back at me. His eyeliner was still there, making him hot.

“Girls Problems!” Sehun nudged Kris. “You are getting ignored.” Sehun laughed.

“Go back to Magicians’ Land. I am fine here. I don’t need you to clear my name.”  Luhan sighed. “Just go back there.” He messed my hair.

“The person who killed the girl is one of the Magician.” Sehun retorted.

Kris lost his cool and grabbed his collar. “Magicians cannot use dark magic and the symbol.”

“It seems like somebody broke the rules. That’s what my instincts tell me. Your school is highly restricted for Enchanters to go in there because Luhan is there. Whatever we caused, it will be blame on Luhan and that’s why my father doesn’t let anyone go there. There is invisible dragon there, waiting for to eat the Enchanters.” Sehun explained.  

“How come I didn’t hear about that?” Luhan asked.

Sehun shrugged and answered “It was done when our immortal witch asked our dad to do that. I don’t know why she cared about you.”

“It can’t be. Magicians will never do that.” Kris mumbled.

Sehun, Luhan, and I watched Kris having mental breakdown to hear that news.

“The Magicians will never fight each other. That’s the truth.” Kris refused to listen what Sehun just said. “I have been raised there all my life and I know Magicians. We will never turn against each other.” He yelled. “They are all lies. Damn it.”

“Kris-“

“Don’t comfort me. I don’t need your pity.” He added.

That was the first time I saw Kris’ tears. He had been betrayed by his own race which he thought was a family.
