Alarm beeped near me and I froze the alarm clock. My magic is uncontrollable. I kept freezing things that annoy me and Kris yelled at me for doing that.
Correction – He always yelled at me whatever I did something wrong. Today is Friday and tomorrow I could go home and live freely without annoying Kris and cleaning the dishes and campus.
And I got to eat my mom’s cook.
Everybody was cleaning their room even though we are coming back next year and live in the same room. Still we needed to clean it because if we don’t, our magical cleaning ladies would be very mad and haunt you when you came back.
That sure is freaky.
I decided to clean later, so I went for a walk. To my unlucky charm, Kris follows me and decides to walk with me because he never went anywhere for summer.
He’s all year student. Actually he is the only student who always there in the school with principal and some elites from Fairy Land who come from Summer School.
After all, he was raised by the principal.
“Who in the world would enroll to this school at the end of the school year?” Kris muttered under his breath but it was loud enough for me to hear. “Some elites come after all the student left. They have schools going on in the Fairy Land. So why is he so early?”
“Kris, why are you making this little thing into a big deal?” I asked, annoyed by the fact that he was asking stupid questions to himself.
“I am not making into this big deal. That kind of situation never happens before.” He argued back.
“He just came early to the school. There is nothing wrong with that.” I sighed.
“In schools of Fairy Land, they always have tests in the end of school year. If you don’t show up to the exam, you failed which get you into the troubles. They will send you to Poena Dorm which basically makes your lives hell. You need to practice and practice and take the exam again.”
“Okay. Okay. Yes, there is something wrong with enrolling into this school early. Why don’t you go ask the principal? He is the one who puts him into the list.” I sighed in defeat and headed back to Girls’ Dorm.
Packing up and cleaning the room was easier than having an argument with Kris.
“He would never talk to me about that. Oh well, I just need to keep my eyes on him. After all, he has a dorm near me.” Kris mentally patted himself on the back.
[Kris POV]
Stupid Jaeyeong never believes me. She is new here, so I would forgive her for that. I knew I needed to upgrade my magic to advanced level if I am going to prevent Eruer from coming back to world.
But I didn’t know how to practice seeing future. So I guessed I need to focus on my magic friend. I tried to stay focus but the noise of vacuuming and singing annoyed me.
Just shut the hell up already.
My eyelids were getting heavier even though it was 10:00 am in the morning. Then my nightmare was starting.
“We beat her!” Jaeyeong cheered as she hugged me. Okay, back up. She was hugging the other Kris. I was near them but they couldn’t see me. Is it how I see the future? I didn’t care but my eyes went to Jaeyeong. She had burning clothes on her and her face was dirty. Her hair was messy but she kept smiling at Kris. Let’s just keep it that way. He smiled back at her and carried the guy that I didn’t even know.
Then the scene changed and I was on the boat. Kris and Jaeyeong were talking. In a flash of second, Jaeyeong was on the ground, dead.
Kris was yelling and slapping her face. “Jaeyeong!” He kept calling her names as he held her. I couldn’t even tell if she was breathing or not. I was frozen at the spot.
And I knew she is dead after another unknown guy had tried to heal her and shook his head.
Then I went bizarre. Kris insisted to try again and he tried.
I couldn’t touch Jaeyeong but I tried to yell “Jaeyeong, wake up! Listen to me. Come back. You’re going to fine.”
Nothing happened. “Jaeyeong!” I yelled.
“Stupid Kris, stop yelling!” A voice boomed.
My eyes shot open and I breathed hard. I looked around. Thanks goodness, I wasn’t on the boat but I knew I just saw a future.
A future.
Dead Jaeyeong.
I ran over to the girl’s dorms. Along the way, some girls gave me weird eyes as if they were going to kill me with their brooms for coming to their dorms. I slammed the door open, revealing Jaeyeong who was packing to go home.
I took her clothes from her hand and said “You are not going anywhere. You are staying here until I killed Eruer.”
She gave me confused looks and asked “Why should I? I am spending my summer with my mom and I am coming back to here next year. No need to miss me, handsome.” She said casually as she took the clothes from my hand and put in her bag.
“I am serious.”My voice was stern.
“Kris, what is wrong with you?” She looked at me. I avoided her eye contact. Still she looked at my eyes and asked “Something is wrong with you. Tell me, Kris!” She ordered.
Knowing future is not good. She would be scared and broke down. Everyone who knows they are going to be dead would be scared. I couldn’t tell her but I knew I am going to protect her no matter what.
“Kris.” She demanded. “You are keeping something from me. If you don’t tell me, I am not going to do what you told me and I will exactly do the opposite as you said.” She huffed in annoyance.
Do the opposite things as I said?
That would led her to the death trap immediately.
“Okay. Fine.” She is a strong girl and I will protect her. I gulped down nervously. What if she freaked out? “I looked into the future and I saw you dead after we had beaten Eruer.”
