24 (Plan)

[Kris Pov]

The ground shook and I could sense something big which was trouble coming to us. I knew that this trip was gonna be dangerous like my mom said but I needed to prove Luhan was innocent.

Okay. Now Baek Jaeyeong was invading my mind.

One look and I saw Jayeong looking at her right. Then a big lion came out of nowhere and grabbed her.

“Jayeong!” I yelled and  I tried to followed her but I lost it.

Damn it! It was my entire fault. Actually, it was Jayeon’s fault. If she didn’t start fighting with me, she would stay with Luhan.

That stupid girl!

“Let’s go to the house. I am guessing she would be there.” Luhan’s voice became stern. I never knew that Luhan had a crush on Jaeyeong. Now I feel like a third wheel.

“We need a plan. We can’t just bang on the door and asked her back.” I said but Luhan didn’t say anything. I stared at Luhan. Why was he all acting weird? Probably he was mad because I was the one who made her walk in front of me which caused her to get grabbed by the big lion.

“Why did you ignore her?” Luhan asked. “I never see you two fight that seriously.”

That set me off. “She didn’t tell me that the trip is for her to prove that she is worthy to her father and also the part that she’s a half blood and a granddaughter of the immortal witch Rurdon who killed all the dragons.”

Luhan looked at me and said “She told me while you are talking to your mom. The truth is she just knew when she arrived here. She didn’t know anything about herself.”

The pang of guilt stabbed in my heart and throat.

“And I don’t think she knows that she is a granddaughter of Rurdon. She doesn’t even know her mom is an enchanter or not.” 

“Aren’t you surprised that she is a granddaughter of Rurdon?” I asked.

“Not really. What am I going to do that anyway?” Luhan said as he arrived at the top of the hill.

 The only problem is we don’t know what to do since we saw three big shroudcoffers (monsters) who seem to have three lives in front of the house.

“I have this crazy plan.” Luhan  mentioned. “It’s kind of risky and-“

“Just tell me.” I didn’t really care about the risks and deaths and I couldn’t do anything but agree to it I had no plans.

[Jaeyeong POV]

First rule to remember when you saw a lion, yell loud as much as you can.
Second, you run away. Don’t freeze in the spot.
Third, if you have power, use it.
Then you will be saved.

Now look at me. I didn’t do any one of them, so I was stuck with the rope which seem anti-magic since I couldn’t use any of my power. I took a mental not to be better at wushu or whatever skills.

Still I thought getting grabbed by the lion is pretty cool. It didn’t bite me or kill me or make me into living pieces.

It brought me to this terrible smelling house. I didn’t complain any thing about since it was cool to see lion tying me to a pole with ropes. I wanted to touch his fluffy fur, too but I knew that I was in death and life situation, so I sat quietly as I tried to get out from the rope as if it would ever happen.

And when I thought about the time I fought with Kris, I felt a little guilty.

Also his words hurt me for no reason.

Not to mention that it was my first time fighting with him and got grabbed by the freaking lion.

“How many time I told you to stay away from him?” A voice boomed.

I was angry because I got grabbed by the stupid lion and was not able to make up with Kris, so I said things harsh and straightforward. “If you did say a name, I would stay away from the guy that you mentioned, stupid!”

“Don’t you dare call me stupid? Because of you, dragons die and you are going to kill him, too.”

Dragons? I remembered a conversation about dragons and immortal witches and stuff. Luhan and Kris were talking about it and they didn’t bother to explain it to me. “First of all, I didn’t kill any freaking dragons. Thank you very much. And I am not killing any guys, so yeah! Leave me alone!” I shouted back into the cold air.

“Oh! I see. You don’t know about your mother and grandmother, do you?” I could hear the voice gets feminine and more evil.

“I don’t want to know, okay? So just shut up!” I didn’t want to hear about my mom and I was too crazy to talk to the air anyway.

“Are you sure, Baek Jaeyeong?” She calls out my full name and  I knew that I needed to change the subject.

“Who is the guy you wanted me to stay away? Just tell me the name and I will kill him for you.” I tried to be the fearless girl who didn’t give a fuck about anything but I kind of wished Luhan and Kris were planning to save me somewhere.

“Oh, no.” It was clearly a woman’s voice and it sounds familiar. “There is no way you will be able to put the blade on his throat. After all, no matter how your grandmother is immortal, you can’t kill him. He’s more powerful than you!” She let out an evil laugh but it was clear that she needed to work on it a bit more.

“You should really work on your evil laugh if you wanted to be casted in Disney.” I blurted out and that moment I regretted it.

“You are a really bad girl.” A figure stands in front of me with a familiar cloak.

Holy mother of cookies. Please don’t tell me that….

She took off her cloak, revealing her face.

And Bam! Kris’ mom was in front of me.
