An AU/Headcanon where the hands are actually representations/extensions of Sakurai's will/Sakurai can control the Hands at will.
i.e.: When you fight the hands, you are actually fighting Sakurai. The "hand" playing with the toy fighters in the SSB 64 trailer/opening is actually Sakurai. And of course, when you play as Master Hand, you are playing as (the heavily overpowered) Sakurai.
The image of Sakurai using the Hands as gloves/puppets/anything else is both really awesome and funny to me, for some reason.
