AU where Hamilton becomes a recluse after Laurens dies. Instead of getting involved in political disputes (publicly at least), he stays at home and writes critical essays on politics anonymously. (It's not as anonymous as you think it is, because who else would write giant essays with metric fucktons of words crammed onto a single page? Oh, and let's not mention the thousands of moles of commas.) He also writes love letters to Laurens, and burns them in hopes of them reaching Laurens in heaven.
