Spiders and Sass

Liam caught me sneaking out of Harry’s room early that morning. His eyes took in my messy hair, rumpled clothes from last night, and evidentially the sparkle in my eyes. 

He smirked. “I’m not saying anything. I’m not Louis.”

I smiled at him gratefully, but then a door behind him opened.

Perfect.

“But I am. I mean, I am Louis, and I am saying something.” He grinned as he saw me. “Sex last night. Nice.”

God. I hurled a shoe at him, hit him squarely in the jaw, then ran and locked myself in my room. 

“You’re never getting this shoe back!” Louis called.

“See if I care!” I shouted back. Actually, I did care. They were my favourite converse. With a sigh I ran back to my door, and out into the hallway. I stormed up to Louis’ door and pounded on it. 

“Go away.” 

I rolled my eyes. “Give me the shoe back.”

“Apologize for hurting my face.”

“Apologize for the sex comment.” I said, quieter this time.

The door flung open and Louis dropped the shoe in my hand. “Here.”

He shut the door again quickly. I blinked, shrugged to myself and went back to my room. 

That was strange. Normally Louis liked to drag these things out. Huh. I dropped the shoe on the floor and changed clothes. It was still shorts and T-shirt weather. I put my hair up in a bun, I hadn’t gotten a chance to wash it last night. Simple makeup, and I was ready to see Uncle Jeff. I grabbed the usual; wallet, sunglasses and phone. I pulled on one converse, and stuck my toe in the other when something moved. I screamed and jumped up. Then, to my horror, a huge, hairy brown spider crawled out of my shoe, waving its legs at me. I continued to scream as I ran into the hallway. Harry’s door was the first to open, and I tried not to focus on the fact he was only wearing boxers.

“What’s wrong? Jenna! What’s the matter?!” Harry grabbed my shoulders and made me face him.

“Huge spider. In my shoe. There!” I shrieked, pointing in my door. 

The corner of Harry’s mouth quirked upwards. “I’ll take care of it.” 

I tried to calm my breathing as Niall and Liam came out in the hallway and Harry went to kill the spider.

“Spider.” I explained to a worried Liam. “In my shoe. It just startled me.”

Then I realized something. 

“Louis.” I growled, running for his door.

“Louis William Tomlinson!” I shouted, banging on his door. “Open this door or I swear to God I will break it down!”

The door opened to a bemused looking Louis. “Can I help you?”

I tackled him with an enraged scream. “You put a spider in my shoe!”

He giggled as I tried to hit him. “Stop! That tickles!”

So I hit the one spot that I knew would hurt.

“Ow!” Louis whimpered, clutching his manhood. “If you keep doing that I’ll never get to have a son!”

I rolled my eyes, stood up and walked back to my room. 

“Is it dead?” I asked Harry as he walked out of my room holding a tissue. 

“Yep. Wanna see?” He grinned, thrusting the tissue towards me.
