I'm not an unfair woman. I will hear your case before making a decision. Kind of like a court, but i'm the only person on the jury.
I believe Tommy had a reasonable explantation and it was evident that he felt guilty. Why does he feel guilty if it's just business?
"I kissed her" after hearing those words, my stomach dropped. A mixed feeling of sadness and jealousy overtaking my body. I didn't let any emotion show though. It's embarrassing enough that I was sat here thinking about Tommy and how I was in love with him whilst he was out kissing another woman so i won't let him know see how much it killed me to hear him say those 3 words.
I just slowly nodded at the new information. "For business?" Tommy nodded frantically, taking a few steps to be right in front of me. "Yes Scar, just business. She likes me so I thought if she does work for the inspector, that maybe her feelings for me would make her change her mind." He desperately explains. I just sigh, turning around to finish making my drink.
Even though my jealousy was through the roof, I was trying to keep calm and stay rational. Listen to what he's saying, understand what he's saying. It did make sense, if Grace thought that they had something together then she might think twice before snitching.
"Good thinking" was all I managed to speak out before walking past Tommy and upstairs towards my room. I shut the door behind me before collapsing onto my bed to lay down, shutting my eyes. I laid there for a few moments before I heard my bedroom door open and close again. Footsteps walk over to bed, before I felt a weight plop down next to me.

Tommy sighed. He genuinely didn't want to kiss Grace, neither did he like it. All he could think about was how Scarlett would react. He liked her a lot, she was on his mind constantly. Whilst sat in the church with Grace, most of his thoughts were with Scar and if she got home alright. If anything Grace pissed him off. Constantly asking questions, he didn't care for her and wanted her gone to be quite frank. "I'm sorry" he sighed once again.

"What for? It was business" I quipped back. "Business or not, if you kissed another man I would kill him." Tommy admitted. I felt better after that, as if all my feelings weren't one sided and that he might feel them too. "I like you a lot, Tommy..." I confessed, opening my eyes to look over at him to find his eyes already on me. "And trust me I do want to kill her." Tommy laughs through his nose before turning to lay on his side, running his hand down my cheek. "I like you a lot too, Lett." Before leaning over me to give me a kiss. "Like a lot, a lot" he says in between kisses making me giggle.

Tommy told me his plans for the day, he was paying Lizzie Stark a little visit, which I wasn't happy about knowing the past between them. Tommy couldn't let John marry her if she still was up to her old antics that she has apparently stopped. He was going to offer her some money for one last hoorah before her new marriage and new life.

Tommy had arranged to come round my house after meeting with Lizzie to walk me to work, he needed to give Grace the contract and her first ever task. I felt slightly irritated when I found out the job was to deliver an invite to Ada. I could've done that, and I missed Ada. I would've liked seeing her. Tommy said that I would see her soon, as I too was invited to the 'family occasion'.
