We watched Sarah run off and I tried to follow but Casser stopped me, saying 'Not now, she needs time to heal.', so we left. I took Casser to see time square while we were in New York and after that I flew us to our home in Las Vegas.
"Why did you choose to help James and Sarah anyway? I mean, you were raised to be absolutely hateful and evil, but then you fell in love with me and helped the person you were raised to kill, why?" Casser asked.
"I helped James because he and I found our common enemy and then once we got to the chapel, he offered to risk his life to save you and trusted me not to switch sides and kill Sarah. He turned his leaf so I decided to turn over mine." I said.
"But are you sure he ever turned over a new leaf? Maybe that's just the kind of person he is, he could just belive in second chances." Casser argued.
"Could be, I suppose, but either way he saved you and me and risked everything for it. He's the second person to ever do that for me, I owe him more than any other person." I said.
"Hmm, I guess that makes sense. Well, I'm tired, I'm going to sleep for a little bit, ok?" Casser asked. "Ok." I responded.
The rest of the trip was silent, I touched down just outside of city limits and walked up to the outskirts of the city and searched for my street. When I found it I walked down to the third house on the left and used my magic to unlock the door. I walked in and kicked the door shut, then carried Casser upstairs to the bed and laid her into it. I walked back downstairs to mull over what happened today and nothing was adding up right.
How did our mother know where to find Casser? I had her hidden away to make sure I would be the only one able to find her, Dad didn't exactly approve. How did our mother find us in the warehouse, and same with George, he knew, too, how? I know James had trusted George, maybe George was a spy or a traitor. Why didn't I try to find my own brother's body? Oh, right, Sarah was there, I didn't want her to see his mangled crushed body. How did my brother lift the whole chapel and then crush it back down on himself? There is no possible way he could've lifted it with telekinesis number one, he doesn't have telekinesis and two, telekinesis only allows you to pick up items that you could've picked up with your own strength. Maybe he used...... No that's not possible, only sages can do that and Sarah never would've allowed for that. This is so confusing, I can't figure any of this out. I guess I'll sleep on it, try and figure it out in the morning.
I went to bed and for the first time ever in my 20 years of life, I had a dream, a good one.
