Hello, mga Talachuchi 💛
Yes, pinalitan ko ang tawag ko sa mga readers ko from Superstars to Talachuchi, thanks to my online kapatid, reader, supporter, and promotor (haha) Collen. I appreciate all your help and support, Koleng. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE. 😘

To all my Talachuchis: Thank you so much for giving Shatterproof a chance to read! It is not the usual story that I used to create, but you supported and read it still. I'm really thankful for all the love you have given to the story and its characters- most especially to Chief Shin.
You see, I have been comfortable writing a romantic-comedy, romantic-drama, and or romantic-slice of life genres, but I tried to step out of that comfort zone and explored another world. Shatterproof is a family drama / inspirational / slice of life / fantasy story. Hindi lahat ay magugustuhan ito, and I am VERY aware of that. But I wrote it for myself. I wrote it because I wanted to prove to myself that I can be more than a romance writer; that I can offer more than just plain romance. But don't get me wrong, romance is STILL my main genre. Bitter lang ako sa lovelife ng iba, pero na-e-enjoy kong magsulat ng romance. Haha!
And I always say this: I don't write to impress—I write to express. And I believe writing is my calling. I write because this is what I want and what makes me happy, not because I crave for attention and fame. :) So, I expect this story to not be everyone's cup of tea. Pero ang importante, nag-enjoy akong isulat siya. Shatterproof is now one of my favorite stories. I've put a lot of effort in this, so THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading it.
FACT:
The idea struck me when I watched a documentary on the AsianBoss channel on Youtube. There was a documentary about a Japanese single dad who used to be a gangster boss. He was imprisoned after he was caught scamming money from other people, and that's when his life changed. After he got out from prison, he met a woman who would soon bear his children. Fast forward, she gave birth to a twin (a girl and a boy). But their relationship didn't last long. She left and let him raised their children alone. I've attached the video below should you wish to watch. 😅 So, there you go. That's where the idea of Shatterproof came from. I outlined the story in the third quarter of 2019 and released it in the early 2020. (Matapos kong makita ulit si Ju Ji Hoon in Netflix's Kingdom, nagkaroon ako ng inspirasyon para kay Fafa Shin.)
Big thanks to Zyzy (JudgyPrincess) for always being there for me and for helping me out finalizing the story. Bago ko isulat ang Shatterproof, nag-consult muna ako sa kaniya kung okay lang ang storyline. She was very helpful. I love you and I miss you, Mahal 😘
Special thanks to RegeeEscalante and IamNadiaLucia (mga MAMAMSH!) for pushing me to make this story happen. They were my online prends and part of JuJiHoon fansclub 🤣 Soo happy to have you as my readers, you both are great writers, too. 😘
And to others who have read this story, THANK YOU for loving Shin Takano. Thank you for laughing with me in some parts, and for crying with me to most parts. Ang tibay niyo mga hane! 😘
Please continue to support my stories and to share them with your friends.
Catch y'all to my next stories and may God bless you!
Much love,
Tala Xx
