"You seem off," Dayna said when I joined her and Celine in the lunch, "Are you okay?"
"Oh, yes! I'm peachy!" I chirped, stuffing my mouth with berries.
She gave me a weird look and turned around to her book. But Celine kept looking at me, I avoided her gaze. As if she knew something was wrong with me. Which it was. But I ain't gonna spill my guts to everyone. Even if Celine and Dayna are trustworthy, I think if I tell them my story they are going to run miles away.
"Where are the boys?" I asked
As if they heard me, Knox flopped down beside me, swinging his arm around my shoulder. "Miss me?"
"Hello ladies," Reece said, sitting beside Celine, sending a wink in her direction.
Levi wasn't with them, I scanned the cafeteria for him, but he wasn't anywhere. Sven was with the group of his friend, chatting and laughing. He wouldn't know where his brother might be, would he?
"Where's Levi?" I directed the question towards Knox and Reece.
"Pay attention to us, Sunshine, we are here. Stop missing those who aren't," Reece winked, which earned him an elbow at his side from Celine.
"Ow, fuck," he cursed, rubbing the spot where she elbowed him, "You know what? Go back to missing him. I have Celine to miss me," he turned to her, "Right, Sweetheart?"
She turned red. She wasn't expecting that, but then, it's Reece. He's unpredictable. "Like hell I will miss you," She muttered
Ouch.
He just laughed loudly. Swinging his arm over her shoulders. Which she shrugged off.
I shook my head at them and turned to Knox, who was looking at me with a weird expression. "Are you okay?" He asked
"I am. Do you know where Levi is?" I asked
He just pursed his lips together. "He should be back by now. He said he had something to take care of," he replied after staring for a long second.
"Berry?" I asked, holding a strawberry between us.
Before he could answer, a loud shrill echoed throughout the cafeteria, earning everyone's attention.
God, this school is a fucking drama house
I turned around to see a beautiful girl training and trying to gain attention from what seemed a pissed Levi.
"Look at me, you asshole!" She yelled, grabbing Levi's arm only to get brushed off as if she were garbage.
Tatiana. She was Tatiana. The model who had worked more than a few times with Tony and wanted to rewrite the whole Kamasutra with Tony.
"Do. Not. Touch. Me." Levi grounded brushing her hand away and kept a safe distance between them. The look on his face could cut as swiftly as a dagger. Tatiana flinched.
"Oh, shit." Reece cursed
"You didn't use to say that," she screeched
That gained Levi's attention. He snapped his head towards her so fast that it was humanly impossible without cracking a bone or two. He pinned her with that killer gaze of his that I saw the first time in two months I've known him, and I knew what Dayna meant that first day we met and why she seemed so afraid.
"I've had my fill," Levi shrugged nonchalantly.
Ouch. That had to hurt like a bitch. But knowing Tatiana, I didn't feel a flicker of sympathy for her.
