"Leave me alone, Nia," he grunted as I got in the passenger seat of his car beside him.

"Look at me," I ordered

"I need to be alone right now, Nia," he said quietly. As if he didn't have it in him to fight, to answer me back.

I turned my body to him and grabbed his face in my hands, or tried to because he moved away. I didn't let that action get to me thinking he's hurt, it's nothing against me.

Does it matter? He's going to leave you anyway. He's been avoiding you for two weeks now. What did you expect?

No. He is not going to leave me. He will never leave me. Not him. He promised me. He wouldn't have growled at Dester because he insulted me. If he wanted to leave me, he wouldn't have bothered.

Right?

I stood up and placed my legs on each side of Levi, and sat on his lap. Straddling him.

"What are you doing?" He hissed but still didn't meet my eyes.

"Why are you avoiding me?" I asked quietly as I brought my hands to gently hold his face.

"Get off, Nia, it's hard enough already without you sitting on me. Don't make it harder," he said, his voice full of restraint, as he removed my hands from his face.

Restraint to what?

"Why won't you look at me, Levi?" My voice cracked a little. I can't handle this anymore.

"Nia..." he shook his head as if he were in an internal debate with himself.

"Look at my goddamned face, meet my eyes, and say whatever the hell is bothering you. But stop avoiding me like a coward," I snapped.

He just closed his eyes and leaned his head in the seat. There were light purple spots under his eyes, his pink lips pursed. That beautiful dirty blond locks of his falling on his forehead. He looked tired but—

Dazzling.

Magnificent.

Exquisite.

"I miss you," I whispered, "You said it wouldn't change a thing between us, and yet here you are. Avoiding me,"

Finally, those dark eyes opened and met mine.

"I know, I know," he said, his voice hoarse, "But how can I not when you look with those striking blue eyes of yours and all I can think about is your mouth on mine? How can I not when you make me want to go on my knees before you whenever you look at me with those ocean blues of yours? How can I not avoid you, Nia," He said slowly, "knowing that I can't kiss you, touch you when my whole body, my blood is screaming to do so?" He didn't once's remove his eyes from mine.

"I certainly don't avoid you when I can still taste your lips on mine whenever I look at you," I said a little more harshly than I intended, "I don't avoid you when I count minutes I am away from you, and time with you passes a lot faster than I would like to. I don't when I can still feel your hands on me, and can't help but want more. I do not avoid you,"

"I can handle not touching you, but you avoiding me, not talking to me... I can't." I shook my head, "You said you will never leave me, but then the same day you start avoiding me. I thought you too wanted to leave me, that you were only around because you felt guilty. After all, you promised me," my voice cracking in the end.

"Gods, no," he said his voice strained, he brought his hands to my waist and pulled me closer as if he was afraid I was going pull away, "I didn't—I would never leave you. Not because I made a promise or feel like I have to stay with you, no none of that bullshit. I would never leave because I don't want to. Even if I am thousands of miles away, or even on the other continent, I will always find my way back to you," He said as he tightened his hold on me.
