Adelina and Ross had a house in Sleepy Hollow, so all the adults decided that it's better to spend the rest of the weekend there instead of flying to Miami at the demand of the kids and waste half of the time traveling.
Though, they said they'll think about spending Christmas in Miami, the place where Levi's mother grew up.
So, we packed our things and left for the Sleepy Hollow which was only ten minutes from the house.
The lesbian couple's house was big and had a garden in the backyard, and a big ass pool that took the entire basement. I realized Ross and Adelina kinda had a soft spot for fancy things. They had one helluva house, it was small compared to the other in Tarrytown, but the way they had it designed was remarkable. After all, Ross is an interior designer.
Adelina called their housekeeper and told her to preheat the pool already and stock the house with supplies.
As soon as we got out of the car, everyone jumped in the pool, no matter how expensive or fancy our clothes were. Levi just threw me over his shoulder and jumped in the pool with me.
Levi's parents were laughing too, jumping themselves in that big ass pool. Sergio and Kaya followed. The twins and Sven were already wet, splashing each other with water.
I spotted a shirtless Harvey rushing towards the pool with Iris on his back, as they too, jumped in the pool. Hawkins laughed as he did a backflip the pool, making Elite snort and mutter 'show off'.
Leora was a little shy and hovered at the edge, laughing at the scene before her. But Sven approaches her from the back and threw her in the pool as he laughed.
"You jerk!" The twelve-year-old yelled at him.
Sven just laughed, as she climbed up and jumped on him with such a force that he lost his balance and fell face forward in the pool with her. The sight made us all laugh.
"This is so not fair!" Ross complained as she entered the basement with Adelina and Rene on her tail, "Couldn't you wait for us? So mean, y'all"
"Oh, come on, baby sister, stop complaining and hop in with your girl!" Harvey yelled from the other end of the room, teasing her.
"You are one piece of an asshole, you know that?" Ross flipped him off. She jumped on Adelina's back, "Come on, baby, let's show them who's the boss,"
Adelina laughed and ran into the pool, doing a dolphin turn into the water with Ross still latched on her back. Both of them emerged out of the water with a sheer swiftness that it made me wonder if they were professionals.
"Impressive," Levi's father mused, hovering around his wife, "You've been practicing,"
"Of course we have been practicing. You knew you—" Adelina pointed at both couples, "you all had it coming. Into the ring bitches,"
It surprised me how at ease and relaxed they were. Nothing compared to the people the world has come to know, neither the people they were yesterday.
Today, they are themselves. These multimillionaires, who have a very strict and strong image in the world, I realized they were kids in their world. I realized that they weren't Levi's or Rene's or Leora's or the twins' parents, but rather, they were their friends.
"They all are different. Even your father," I said out loud.
"What do you mean?" He asked looking at me.
"It's like they all are a whole different people. They weren't this laid back yesterday," I explained, looking at how they, all six of them, were showing off their skills in the water, arguing about who's better and what they learned the time they were away.
