to y/n, being with josh was fun. he's one of the best people to be around and they cherish him for him. he makes them happy when they're down, and vise versa. seeing him joyful really puts a smile to their face. josh makes them laugh, and sends many compliments to get the other filled up with glee.

now, for josh, all y/n has to do is be in his presence and he'll claim that he feels at home, wherever they are. whether it'd be in public or at one of the other's place, josh would always feel happy, as long as y/n was there; which is what was happening right now.

y/n laughs on their bed as they see the username plaguekitty pop up on josh's screen, immediately knowing that they donated for what seemed like the 100th time that stream.

"i appreciate the gifted subs, but please stop spending your money, dude!" josh groans.

y/n decided to fuck with josh as well and say something in chat.

y/u/n : hey @ plaguekitty, don't listen to him. make josh rich >:)

plaguekitty : you got it @ y/u/n >:)

a few minutes later, chat started to spam that y/n was in chat, making josh confused. "they are? well chat is going by fast, i didn't see. in fact, i can't even read what's going on. what did they say?"

not long after, people were responding, telling the gamer what they said. "NO! Y/N/N, DON'T ENCOURAGE THEM!! THEY'LL ACTUALLY DO IT!"

y/u/n : that's the point, dumbass

josh laughs in response. he reads a comment that says "they've come to the dark side!". he laughs even harder, but tries to throw away the so-called statement. "that's just not at all true."

as soon as the words leave his mouth, he messes up womps again and slams his desk in frustration. he rubs his face and doesn't seem to start up the game again. "i'm actually done. like i'm so angry," he states.

y/n frowns, feeling bad for the male. as if a lightbulb actually popped up from their head, y/n came up with an idea. they decided to go surprise josh and try to comfort him, knowing he wasn't feeling so good.

they hop into their car and place their phone on the holder so they could continue watching as they drive over to josh's house, even though it seems like a bad idea and knowing it's dangerous, but they didn't care. they just wanted to make the boy happy, even if he just cracked a tiny smile.

as they got closer to his house, they noticed that the streamer switched the category to "just chatting". "awe, he gave up.. it's okay baby, i'm almost there."

when they arrived, his mom opens the door for them, greeting each other and giving a quick hug before proceeding to walk to up to josh's room. as y/n walked up the stairs, josh could be heard from his room. "and it seems like y/n isn't in chat anymore, what another reason to be sad."

y/n finally knocks on his door. "hold on, someone's knocking." he says as he changes his screen to his iconic 'brb' sketch.

as soon as josh opens the door, a smile replaces his frown, making him already forget about being upset beforehand. "Y/N!" he engulfs y/n in a tight hug, backing up onto the hallway's wall. "hi josh," y/n laughs.

"hi baby." he proceeds to pull them into a sweet kiss. "you okay?" y/n question. "yeah, now that you're here!" he picks them up, the two spinning around and laughing. josh places y/n down and proceeds to take their hand, leading them into the room. "come on, i'm about to wrap up the stream."

the two sit at his desk and josh unmutes himself. he changes the screen back to him, chat starting to go nuts when they see y/n's presence. "look guys, y/n/n's here!" he throws his arm around y/n's shoulder, pulling them close so he could kiss their temple. y/n responds by smiling as blush starts to creep up their face.

josh notices, deciding to tease them a bit. "awe you're so cute!" y/n covers their face, trying to hide the blush. josh laughs, "alright guys, now that the love of my life is here, i'm heading out." he finishes his goodbyes and raids altrive's stream, who was playing animal crossing. he turns off his monitor and turns to y/n. he slowly takes their hands away from their face, "hey baby."

y/n giggles in response, making josh fall for them more. he lifts up their chin and kisses them, y/n immediately melting in it. their hands make their way to his hair, running their fingers through it.

they pull away mutually and decide to just cuddle and talk about their days. eventually, they fall asleep in each other's arms, happy that they have one another.
