The strong wind skimmed through the grasses that poked on her sneakers. She caressed her hand on the ground, her head hanging low as she took a deep breath. Everything was harmonious; from the whistling of the air to the swaying of the twigs.

Today was a Saturday yet surprisingly, not that many people were in the place that she's currently on. Her body shuddered while feeling the itchiness of the creeping charlie dandelions that touched her skin.

She plopped herself on the dusty ground, not minding the dirt that was now desperately clutching on the fabric of her jeans. Her hand fished around her small amber satchel before taking out a mundane box and placed it on the cold stone.

"How ya' doing paps? I'm sorry for not visiting you last week.. I was kinda.. caught up with something."

(Y/N) brushed away the pieces of dead leaves that covered the ground, her fingers tracing on the lettering engraved on the black stone tablet. She propped her arms behind her and let out an exasperated sigh afterwards.

"Mom and dad sends their regards! They can't come here now though.. Dad's very busy with the number of patients that enters his clinic at this time of the year." She slowly etched a genuine beam on her lips, patiently waiting for something as if the person that she was talking to could respond to her.

The young woman bit her lip melancholically as she fidgeted with her opening of the small box that she brought with her. She took off the lid which revealed half a dozen of freshly baked sugar-free wheat cookies; her grandfather's favorite.

When she was younger, she never understood why his grandfather was so fond with this flavor of cookies.. it never tasted good for her. She was too naive to notice the fact that this was the only type of dessert that the old man was allowed to eat even if it was not what he wanted before, but as time went on, he slowly managed to convince his self that it was good.

Now that she's on his shoes, she could deeply understood why her beloved grandfather could only bake this kind of pastry. She can still clearly remember how the man would always remind her how important it is to take care of one's health.

He would always say that crossing towards the afterlife was never hard. The reason that the travel becomes complicated is because you're going to leave someone you deeply care about behind. Seeing tears rolling down on someone's cheeks will always be a haunting memory to carry with you when you make your way towards the other side.

The man suffered from a genetic type of severe diabetes running down on his blood. He lived a life of happiness and love; he never let his sickness stopped him from doing the things that he wanted. Although he died before reaching the age of 60, he was very contented with everything.

(Y/N) slowly extended her arm to reach for a piece of cookie, the roughness of its texture grazing against her tongue as she took a bite of it. She tilted her head to read the name of her grandfather carved against the stone.

"Paps.. It's not that I'm.. I'm blaming you..but.." She hated herself for saying these words but it was just so abrupt that she was never given a chance to think of what to say.

Her face turned red from all the dismal that she felt because of the current situation. Without noticing it, fresh warm tears pooled down the old grave stone.

"...why me?"

Daisuke paced back and forth after realizing that he was now all done with his weekend works. The fact that there was no blabbering (h/c) haired young woman surprising him out of nowhere today felt so off to him.

He desperately snapped out of his thoughts before sighing in complete irritation. He found his self in his bedroom, giving up and plopping his body on his bed, the arms of the fluffy mattress immediately wrapping around him.

The ravenette reached for something in his pocket, fishing out a small pocketbook that he borrowed from his sister. It was odd to comprehend at first but for some very odd reason, he was now invested in reading some cheesy romantic classic literature.

He was not interested with the plot but what intrigued him was how he was able to learn more about the real meaning behind the word attraction and how one should act around someone they adore. It was a foreign topic to him, truth be told, but nevertheless, it was helping him understand his self more.

His breathtaking oceanic irises scanned along each of the words printed on the reading material, his attention now strained on what was happening in that chapter. However, a certain dialogue made his breath hitch, causing him to suddenly throw the poor defenseless book on the other side of the room. The line stated;

'I'm deeply in love with a girl named (Y/N)'

He's not sure if the world is now against him or his mind is teasing him to death.. but one thing is sure though..

..he really needs to do something about this feelings of his.
