Y/N POV-

i sat trembling on the hard cold floor of starcourt mall next to max watching ,jaw dropped, as her brother sacrificed himself..

i could see the tears threatening to spill and hugged her..

i couldn't fucking sit by and watch my best friends only sibling d i e.

"OI OVER HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!"

i waved my hands and threw a bag a shopper must of left...

"Y/N WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU-"

the thing lurched towards the bag near the entrance and then lurched towards me..

everyone ran over to billy as i was getting cornered by the second..

WILL POV-

I looked back to see if y/n was following and she wasn't...

I ran hecticly trying to find her and then i did...

i took a deep breath and shouted at the top of my voice..

"OVER HERREEE!"

It dropped y/n to the ground and she scrambled onto her feet running towards me and hugged me.

"that is the scariest shit i've ever-"

It roared up again..

but started going in the opposite direction to us and el was trying to stop it... everyone went to the back of the mall and huddled across the wall..

me and y/n's hands intertwined and our bodies remained cuddling.. i didn't think much of it first but then my cheeks heated up

STOP WILL YOU'RE PROBABLY GOING TO DIE AND NOW'S THE TIME FOR FEELINGS?!

"will... why did you do that?"

"i uh.. just didn't want you to leave me... i mean Us yeah that.."

She smiled slightly and said 

"this isn't the time for kissing but... "

she placed her warm lips on mine.. i melted into it immediately..

we pulled away no longer as scared as we were..

Hopefully this thing would die and we could be normal teenagers again..

well we never would be..

but we could try.
