(CHAPTER 15) *Embarrassing Moments🤭🙈

The curious blue pair was busy lurking on the page as if trying to consume each and every word. Slow breath fanned on the pages, resting her head on the headboard she paused for a second.

Her eyes felt heavy due to continuous reading. She closed her eyes and her mind started playing her favorite scenes.

Isabelle's POV:-
Rubbing my heavy eyes, I did a little exercise to relax myself. The story which I was reading started playing in my mind. I couldn't help myself to stop and how could I?

I felt light now, all the heaviness gone by just recalling it. I placed a colorful feather in between the pages where I had left reading. Moving my hands on the soft fluff, it felt so cool and beautiful within.

I used to collect colorful feathers from the garden. It was one of my childhood hobbies. It always brought happiness on my face.

With a satisfied smile, I closed the book and placed it on the bedside table. Stepping down from my bed, I moved towards the window. Pulling the pink curtains from it, I opened the window latch.

And what I saw was spell bounding. The garden looked like it had been decorated with white snow. The colorful flowers and trees were all caped in divinely whiteness.

Small snowflakes covered the ground. I lifted my eyes and saw that snowfall was still going on. The child inside me squealed, forcing me to step outside.

With hurried steps, I went out in the garden sheepishly. I took as soft steps as possible to avoid making any noise. Reaching the main gate, I opened it slowly. The splendid scene made me extremely happy, I ran out to enjoy the snowfall.

But the floor was all slippery and I slipped on it with my hands stretched like batman. I tried stopping myself but my little efforts went in vain.

I put hands on my mouth to prevent myself from screaming. Closing my eyes, I thought this is my end.

'For once can I enjoy the moment nicely? I think embarrassment is the only thing reserved in my fate.'

But positivity overtook me.
'Why the hell I'm being so negative. Bell; you can relish these moments.' Sliding on the sheet of snow; I was smiling now. I hit with a rock that stopped me, thankfully. I sighed satisfactorily; at last the roller coaster ride is over.

But; no man, life always has something crazy in it's bag for you. Oh ya; why not, life loves us all, right? It can throw you in complex situations as I'm in now.

I felt something heavy dropping on me. My happiness and smile vanished in a second. I couldn't handle this more. I'm going to die today in this lonely garden.

The weight was too much and the next thing hitched my breath. "Aah," my eyes shot open.
I blinked my eyes fast for I couldn't register what I just saw.

My mind was screaming loudly.
'No, this couldn't be happening!'
I shut my eyes to confirm it's not a dream.

But it was a harsh reality!

'What can be more embarrassing than this!'
Dom was on top of me and we were stuck on each other in a very awkward position.

Fluttering my eyes slowly; I met with his mysterious brown orbs, peeping in my soul. Small silky locks reached till his eyes disturbing his vision. His eyes held adoration, love and pain at the same time.

He tried to move his face to my eye level but something hindered the movement. I felt my chain pulling me more close to him. Wiggling, I managed in taking my hand out. Bringing it closer to his face, my eyes focused on his beard and I started my work.

'Yup, its quite weird but it is! I think I have all weird things in my life.'

His beard got tangled in my star shaped locket. "Wait, I'll remove it. Sit still, don't move your face." I tried sounding formal but from inside my heart was running a marathon.

His eyes were on me all the time and my gaze was fixed on the star. His hot gaze was melting my insides. 'Don't judge me I too am a girl. I also have hormones.'

I was trying to pluck it out smoothly, but he groaned in pain.
"Aaaah its paining." He grumbled in his deep voice.
"I'm so sorry; I didnt mean to hurt you." My hands worked more precisely now.

His hot breath was intoxicating but I focused on my work. At last, his beard and my locket were untangled. Phew, I sighed. It was a tough task though.

A soft snowflake touched my face, resting on the bridge of my nose. I brought my hands to remove it but I was late.
His rough hand brushed it off, sending jitters to my body. Rosy pink color tinted my cheeks. I felt goose bumps arising within me.

His hand went towards my face and I looked up to him but got lost in his eyes. As he rubbed on my cheek, the color became darker.
Our world had stopped we were engrossed in each other deeply. I wanted to read his soul. My eyes were glued in his brown ones.

Although; my heartbeat was in it's full swing, I wanted to know about the mystery that he hid in his eyes. He grabbed my face and smeared his lips softly upon my temple.

As the reality struck me, I jerked back. The strong push made him lose his balance and he stumbled back. And I stood up pleating my dress avoiding his strong gaze.

Here, I was busy studying his eyes and he just followed his desires. 'Cant he control himself?' I thought.

"I love your innocence. Maybe it can melt a rock someday." His husky voice rang in my ears turning my cheeks pink. Such a shameless man!

I can never imagine, he could be so daring!

I was speechless, it seemed as words got stuck in my throat. What he did a minute before shocked me to the core. I was confused with the thoughts battling inside me.

A part of me liked it, as the kiss on forehead was a sign of respect. But another part lectured me that it was a bad thing. I felt ashamed of myself. My soul was in a dilemma.

'You wanted to enjoy the beautiful snow. What a pleasant snowfall Belle!'

My sassy mind retorted back.

Just like beads of a broken necklace,
Moments pass one after another; breathless.

Slowly the hearts are connecting,
From passing of smiles to emotions sterling.

With rapid beats and stolen kisses;
One gets happy but another one pisses,

Lets preserve this chain,
Or everything will go in vain.

Enjoy the pleasant snow,
When you will breathe last, nobody know!
