(CHAPTER 16) SECRETS DISCLOSED!!😲🤐

With love and care between them days passed to months. Dom had been an unbreakable part of their small family.

Most of the time he would spend with them either helping Peter in the garage or gardening with Valentina but most of his efforts would be to stay around Bell. Every day with some or the other excuse he paved his way towards her heart.

He attempted to bring a smile on their faces by his mischievous activities. Bell had captured his heart in such a way that she became his lifeline, he couldn't breathe without her.

Slowly, she was also opening up to him. They used to spend more time with each other. Valentina and Peter also gave them space as Bell got a new friend to talk to. As well, Dom was not a stranger he had conquered their hearts now.

One fine day, he got time to spend with her. He was very happy and even the weather was pleasant enough to lift up the dull spirits.

Their heartbeat was faster with every step. They were having a walk in the blooming garden.

Lifting up, her eyes fell on his face which had a content smile. Her lips also curled into a smile looking at him, gentle air blew her hair softly.

Both of them were enjoying each others company engrossed deeply.
Suddenly, his manly voice grabbed her attention.
"They are looking so good together."
He said looking in the direction of the lawn where the middle aged couple was chirping. Peter mumbled something in Val's ears resulting in a shy smile on her pink cheeks.

Bell looked towards their direction humming to him. She chuckled at the scene in front of her. Her eyes sparkled with admiration for them. She loved the bonding between her parents.

Dom glanced at her and spoke, "They had even accepted me as their son. I'm so thankful to God for blessing me with such great parents again," he sighed.

This irked her curiosity she didn't knew much about him though. So, trying not to offend him, she inquired softly.
"Where are your real parents?"

The brown orbs held pain and suffering in them. He suddenly felt heaviness in the atmosphere, and whispered anxiously.

"My parents loved me very much. Dad used to be busy usually so most of my time was spent with mom.
One day, mom went for some important work leaving me behind. I persisted her to take me but she promised to return back soon.
All day I waited for her, neither I ate nor played with my friends. I just wanted my mom to arrive soon and never abandon me again. It started getting dark, I was sleepy, my eyes were closing but I was shook up with loud voices.
I ran towards the commotion and saw my parents body covered in blood. People carried them and placed it on the ground.
My mother's beautiful face was covered with wounds and blood. And my dad's body was brutally fragmented. My mind stopped and my vision blurred with tears and I could not understand anything, I fell down upon their body whining.
I was trying to wake up my mom but my uncle caught me. Lifting me up, he spoke gravely. 'Let her sleep. She went to a peaceful world, now. She will never wake up. Come on, don't cry. I'm here for you.'
Cleaning my tears he took me far from the place.

I was very small then. All the memories are still fresh in my mind. But I was shattered, my heart stopped beating from that day, Bell."
With eyes full of rage and tears, he fisted his hand.

A small sob escaped from her mouth listening to his sad story. She placed her soft hands in his rough ones, squeezing them and cooed.
"It had passed over Dom, everything is good now. God is the only one who makes us laugh and cry. Every incident that occurs has a good reason behind it. We cannot understand it's wisdom at that moment. It clicks us later on.
