(CHAPTER 23) BROS BEFORE HOES 😎👊

He looked outside the window, the bright sky nudged him to go on. His gaze fell upon the divinely soul seated beside him.

Grabbing her hand firmly, his lips moved fast narrating the incident  with flared up nose and anger flashing in his chocolate brown eyes. It had turned dark with rage filled in his body, the light touch became rough and so gripping, that Bell winced in pain.

This woke him up from his trance and he drew his hand immediately.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just about those bastards. I will rip their body apart." With his jaw clenched tightly, he pushed back his locks that were disturbing his vision.

Bell stood alarmed, she had seen his anger and wrath.
She whispered lowly,
"What happened after that? Did the chief shot Dad? Or you?....." Her voice cracked at last.

Wiping off her tears Dom took her soft hands and started making circles to soothe her. He started again in rough tone, "I thought it was my end. Closing my eyes, I was prepared to die. The first gunshot shook my heart as it was Peter who had  been killed. But the Chief's yelling surprised me. I shot open my eyes and another gunshot echoed in the air.
What I saw in front of my eyes was unbelievable!
The disgusting Captain laid lifeless on the rock. His body hung loosely from it, I moved back to check on Peter but saw the body of the lapdog, the so called Chief."

Bell inquired curiously, "Who killed those ridiculous men? What did the rest of the people do? They were also pirates!" Her eyes held lots of questions and worry on her face.

Dom looked at her smilingly, he loved the way she cared about him. He continued, "I too had the same question in my mind. As well, I was worried about Peter.
'If anything happened to him, how would I face you.'
I scanned my surroundings, but he couldn't be found anywhere."
Sadness covered his face.

Further, he continued "The chaos from far grabbed my attention. The screaming and roaring of men forced me to reach there as soon as my feet took me.The familiar hoarse voice reached my ears, ending up all my queries."

Bell retorted back, "You had connections with those pirates, also?"
She was listening attentively to him.

Dom looked at the roof and then locked his eyes with his favourite blue pair. Jittery feelings made her heart go wild.

With deep voice, he said "I turned back to the one who called my name, they were my brothers. I felt extremely happy and relieved.
His face was marked in black disguise. Long beard with beads attached to it was covering his chest and jet black filthy hair flew with the slow breeze."

"Your brothers? You told me that you were a single child." Isabelle whispered in a raspy voice.

Dom's eyes sparkled while speaking, "My childhood friends. They are more than brothers to me."

"You didn't tell me their names? They might be wild just like you!" Her sweet laughter boomed in the room.

Dom couldn't contain himself, a cheery smile crossed on his face. He voiced his thoughts, "Obviously, they are my friends. How can they not be wild, han? Alexander, Lucas and Mael were my family before I met you." His eyes held pride and adoration for them.

Sliding his fingers in his hair, he spoke up with new energy. "Alexander shot the Captain and the chief. While Lucas and Mael were out of sight. Before I could hug him, the whole space got filled up with cacophony. The people were bizarre, seeing their Captain being killed, shocked them.
One of the heavy built man, came forward, addressing to the other pirates. "These nasty people eat with us to stab at our back. Come on, we need to show hell to these traitors. We have no place for scums."

All of them were full of rage and their eyes flashed revenge. The sound of thud make us turn around to see a man lying down with slashed throat. As soon as; they could understand, a shower of stones started instantly.
Lucas and Mael were the ones behind it, their shot hit the man at right place dropping them down at the ground."

Her soft squeal broke his reverie, "Yay, that's like a hero. I like your friends, I'm impressed at once."

Nodding his head, Dom quirked his eyebrow at her. "Ohh, so you like them. Your appreciation for me was too late. And you are liking the strangers?"

Bell turned her face towards the door, she spoke hurriedly. "It's different with you. Well, what if I even like them. Are you jealous?"

This ignited the fire inside Dom, "You are my possession. And anything that comes under my possession, could never free itself. You're mine, forever. I want your lips to take my name. Only my name." He brought his face closer to her blushing cheeks. And moved his lips towards her ears. His voice made her palm sweaty with heavy breathing, she was unable to stand firmly.

Bringing her hands forward, she tried pushing him back but to no avail. Ya man, he was quite heavy. Her pink lips pleaded to him, "Leave me."

"Call my name, love." Dom was obstinate, he wanted his name to roll off from her tongue.

"Dom, please leave me. For God's sake." Her attractive voice left him craving for his name. How good his name sounded on her tongue!

Dragging himself back, he went on "There's more to the story. It was my friends who rescued us from those douchebags. We fought with the pirates, whatever came in my hand, I used it as a weapon. But; after sometime, Peter blacked out. He couldn't stand more, so I have to take him back home."

"What about your spaceship? Did you find that?" Requested the innocent Bell.

Dom's face lightened up listening to it.  "It was the only reason I went to the wretched people. But Peter's condition worried me, so I brought him here fast but I too was unconscious due to continuous fighting. Anyways don't worry, I am well now."

His words washed away all her worries. She took a sigh of relief listening to the story.

A beautiful smile settled on Bell's serene face and her eyes looked more gorgeous with happiness sparkling all over it.

She whispered some thankful words and stood up. A loud knock came from the main gate. It was concurrent with hard tapping, increasing her heartbeat with every second.

The sweat beads coated her forehead and her hands trembled with fear. The banging accelerated with her pounding heart.
"Who could it be?" Her mind threw millions of queries.

Recalling of her sick dad, she sprinted to the door picking up the fry pan on her way. Another bang erupted, memorising the only strength, her lips whispered, "Oh God, grant me ease, the courage and strength to keep on going and the patience to trust Your plans."

Taking a deep breath, she twisted open the door to reveal a eyes were as sharp as eagle, and his built screamed violence. Seeing the timid look on her face, that
man crackled a barbarous laugh.

This sent a shiver down her spine with goosebumps all over her body.
The fry pan dropped from her trembling hand with a loud bash.
