he's ecstatic to say the least. the thought of having a child with the one person he cares most for in the world fills him with unadulterated joy. the prospect of having a family with you is super exciting, and gives him a new sense of purpose. he now has a little on to protect and provide for, and its a good excuse to spend more time with you too.

he'll worry about you a lot, and his mind will constantly be on you throughout the day. what are you doing? where are you now? are you feeling lonely? do you need any help? he'll probably check on you throughout the day, whether it be him going to see you in his lunch break or sending one of the turks out (preferably elaine) to check in on you.

in the later stages of your pregnancy he'll make sure you always have someone to go out with. he unfortunately can't be by your side all the time, so it reassures him that there's someone there to look after you. of course he doesn't want you to feel smothered or completely lose your independence, but he really does worry especially considering all of the evil win the world.

his favourite thing to do in the evening as both of you unwind from the day is to place his hands on your stomach to try and coax out a kick. he'll whisper to your bump too, promising the best of the best for them and to be with them every step of the way. it's moving, watching this typically stern and aloof man talk to your bump.

when he finally holds his baby in his arms, he's certain that there's no one he loves most in the world. this little angel is his, a part of him, and he's filled with a rush of love and fear. love for your child, fear at the prospect of not being able to fulfill his promises. but he knows he can do it with you at his side.
